Good inexpensive cable modem only down side is that it doesn’t work with cable bundles that include home phone networks or “voice” phone just won’t connect through it. Other than that great modem for internet speeds up to one gig

This modem is OK, but I really didn't need one like the associate told me. If it wasn't so much trouble to go back through Optimum to get it online, I would have returned it.

Use this to be part of my homes data conversion. Was able to get rid of the rental box and have better service throughout the house. great system and very Plug and Play. Have not had a failure since I installed

Cutting cord with current cable company. Returned modem, router, DVR and extra cable box. Got a high end antenna. Only getting internet. Saving $150 per month.

I spoke with a sales associate, Like, who recommended this model. After reviewing several other modems I chose this one. I have been out of town and haven't hooked up yet. But I am looking forward to setting this modem up.

Ditched my Optimum modem for this Netgear one. I got tired of paying $10.00 per month to Optimum. The Optimum rep recommended this to me, said she has it. I bought it on her recommendation. So far so good.

Instead of buying the entry level modem (CM-500), I bought this modem so I wouldn’t have to upgrade any time soon. In other words, its more than I need now. But, I will not be forced to upgrade by my ISP when they drop the CM-500.

Still strong and used almost 3 years. This is a nice router.

Works great! Replaced my Mediacom modem. No more monthly charge! It only took a couple of minutes to contact Mediacom & get it activated.

I am sure this is an excellent product, but found out I did not have need of it so I returned it the next day. Thank you Best Buys for all you do.

Had an Arris that served me well until it got damaged in an electric storm. Purchased this to go with my new Netgear router. Works better than the Arris did I don't have dropped signal any more.

Works great on comcast. No impact on network speed. However, the device seems more stable than the ones they rent. Will pay for itself in in 10 months.

This cable Modem has been one of the steadiest i have used. I will keep buying as long as the quality stays the same or gets better. Your internet connection will stay strong....like the force!

Cable modems always start off great. Then a year or so passes and you're resetting them once a week, then once a day, then they die and have to be replaced. Only time will tell if this one is any different.
