Never was able to get this modem to work. I was in contact with the Netgear support and they had me changing different setting but still would not work. I contacted Xfinity, my IP and they tried sending different signals and still did not work so I returned it.

I was told by 3 people to get netgear. It did not work at all for me. Setup was forever and still wouldn't work right. I bought what i thought was best of everything and it was the worse modem i have ever tried. Netgear customer support was no help either.

It was great while it worked. Unfortunately this modem died less than 2 months after purchasing it. I’m not sure if this is Netgear specific but I have been going through a lot of Netgear equipment late; they break down within one year.

I originally purchased an identical model about 10 months ago and it failed for no reason. Since everyone works from home, I needed one right away and BB had them in stock. Even though still under warranty, it took over two weeks to get it replaced. From now on, I am keeping (an expensive) spare.

There was an internet outage in my area for several hours. When the provider turned the internet back on, this modem started flashing rapidly and would no longer connect. After some research, I found out that this is a known issue with these modems. Because I was a few weeks outside of the warranty, Netgear would not provide any service or repairs. Would not recommend.

Absolute utter garbage died after 2 months. Went from 934 Mbps to 212. Comcast measured 1500 Mbps into the modem. Netgear tech support tortured me for a month with the slowest emails on earth and finally decided to send me another piece of junk. They are horrible. Netgear should be sued putting out this trash. I took 4 hrs for Comcast to set it up...none of the "support" personal could seem to manage it. NIGHTMARE

Malfunctioned after 18 mo of use. I had purchased the extended warranty with Geek Squad (well worth it) and Best Buy was awesome with processing a quick exchange.

Don’t buy, it’s software is no longer supported (less than. 1 year after I bought it) and it is now experiencing a NetGear bug that prevents me from getting the speeds I am paying for on Xfinity. xfinity even sent me multiple emails with SUPPORTED modems and said that the NETGEAR issue will not be fixed for a couple months. What a joke and ripe off

pure junk and will not work with xfinity, I was on the phone with netgear and xfinity for 4 hours trying to get this working, xfinity gets a error the modem can not be added to inventory, I was told by netgear this is a cable modem issue even though I paid for the pro plan there is nothing they can do for a few months

Not sure if the issuing I’m having with Wi-Fi dropping daily is due to the maiden, router (orbi) or provider. Whatever the issue, when the signal is stable it’s great

horrible upload speeds. It was supposed to be a top-of-the-line modem but had super slow upload speeds. Netgear support was not helpful and ultimately returned to get a cheaper but better product from a competitor.
