This is the 2nd one of these I’ve purchased. First one fried by lightning strike (no more inexpensive surge protectors). It serves a single purpose - acquire the signal from your ISP and pass it on to your router. In that, it excels. Highly recommended.

I have Cox 300mps and a Nighthawk AC3600 router in my basement. Upstairs in my livingroom I ping 244mps to my Galaxy7 thru WiFi. Cox is going to have Gigabit speed, to my home, over coax in 2 years or less. So when my 8 channel Netgear modem couldn't keep up with 300mps I upgraded to this docsis 3.1 so I'll be ready for Gigabit. Plus the 32 channel makes my 300mps sing! Stream 4k HDR from YouTube and Netflix no problem. I was looking at the Arris but I have no experience with them and since it was just bought out I'm not to sure.

This model works great. It's my second purchase of this model because a thunderstorm bricked the last one. I did not get the extended warranty but did this time. I got the same one because I was really happy with the performance.

I purchased this to replace a Motorola SB6121 cable modem and was by far the easiest to setup. It was all done through the web console. I've only had it for a month, but haven't had any issues or problems with it. My PC seems to be running faster after replacing my modem. I like that it has an on and off switch on the back. It comes with a 3' or 4' ethernet cable, power cable, and modem.

bought this to save myself from paying my monthly charge on a cheap modem that could barely keep up with 1 Roku TV. This modem is lightning fast and works like a champ. Once installed, all you do is call your internet provider and have them initialize it and you are good to go. Before you buy, check with your provider to make sure aftermarket modems are compatible with their service!!!

Bought this to replace my old unit which can’t handle 1Gb internet. My ISP provider is Mediacom, call tech support up to activate the device and my unit up and running within a few minutes, pulled 937Mbps on the the first speed test (wired).

I replaced my old basic modem with this because I had frequent internet disconnect and slow streaming with frequent buffering. I used this modern in conjunction with orbit router. It works great and solved all the issues.
