Overheating prone

This modem as well a the last two NETGEAR modems I’ve owned seam to be prone to overheating and when that happens a continuous battle to keep the internet stable begins. If you do choose a NETGEAR modem I would keep a fan blowing on it around the clock. You will do as you see fit, as for me, NO MORE NETGEAR MODEMS!

Terrible quality

They work great for the first 6-8 months but then gradually start having issues with dropping the connection and the LEDs dying. This unacceptable for such an expensive modem advertised as being designed for gaming and high quality internet and hardware.

Expensive Garbage
