I finally pulled the trigger and upgraded my router. I was very skeptical at first about getting the upgrade because i was able to clock full speeds when directly connected. But the beam-forming capabilities and wifi speeds are phenomenal. I use this router for my xbox 1 and i connect it using wifi and i get max download speeds which for my area is 60mbs. I am very happy with my purchase and Net gear products are user friendly.

We had weak Wi-Fi signal and it had gotten so slow with our 4 yr. old Cisco we had to do something. I researched and narrowed it down to this one, with the blessings of my IT expert friend. I am very happy with the excellent signal strength (range) and speed we have now!

bought this for a repair shop i worked for since our old router went to crap. so far shes holding well and speeds were noticeably better. setup wasn't too hard to do and i personally enjoy you can use a app to tinker with settings.

Works as expected with no problems yet acquiring the signal throughout my home, nice easy set-up once configured

Needed this to get signal throughout the house...it really worked. I now get a fairly strong signal where I didn't in the past.

I had originally bought the Asus RT-AC68R for my 2000 sqft house. Previously I had always had trouble receiving signals in the farthest corners of my house, but the ASUS had really strong signal strength. However, the interface is really dumbed down. I prefer to have a lot of dhcp reservations (permanently assigned IP addresses) for the 20+ devices in the house and their reservation table only shows the MAC address and the IP address without any column to place a hostname. It's very confusing, so I decided to go with the Netgear instead where I knew I'd have a hostname column for tracking devices. The downside is that the Netgear, while it does reach the corners of my house, it's signal strength isn't quite as strong. But I wouldn't go back, I like the interface on the Netgear routers. FYI, both brands offer a free dynamic DNS service which seems to work just fine.

Great Router for the casual gamer. I have had no problem streaming video or browsing web anywhere in my home.

Very easy to setup. Works great in a very large house (over 5000 sq ft), I had it installed and working in no time.

Works great...just as advertised. Both for WIFI use for other devices, and no problems with streaming movies to my TV.

Works very well for our Home. No loss of signal between Bedroom and Living room. Very impressed.

This is much faster and more stable than the last Cisco router that I owned. I would highly recommend this item.

I bought this router for my mother after she decided to finally upgrade her Internet connection from broadband. It works great in her house with no noticeable of speed loss in any of the rooms in the house. Easy set up and no issues so far. Will recommend to anyone looking for a new WiFi router.

Works really good for all of us that are on the internet at the same time.

Chose this router as I was already invested in netgear equipment with my cable internet provider as I also had the EX7000 WiFi extender and needed to replace the cable modem with a router for Greenlight fiber connection. Was able to configure the new router after initial issues as it detected that a cable router already configured and wanted to be configured as an AP. After manually configuring the router, the EX7000 connected and worked with no issues. Have had no real issues with the router except when managing device with a browser, will sometimes get to a screen that wants to do a factory reset after entering serial number of device. Closing browser and reconnecting to router usually corrects this issue. If not, waiting 10-15 minutes before reconnecting to the admin console will correct the issue. Have noticed that firmware updates are released more frequently than I had seen on previous devices but would consider that a good thing that NetGear is keeping ahead of vulnerabilities and providing patches to correct them in a timely manner.

I use this router in a 725 sq ft apartment. The router works great everywhere. No drops in connection anywhere.

Having this allows my brother and I to have a separate channel for our games and one for our parents to use. It's a bit wasted since we're still on DSL, but this doubled the amount of speed we get when my brother and I are both gaming online. Was easy to set up and has had no issues since purchasing.

I live in a condo that has a unique ability to eat my wireless signal. I purchased two different wireless units over the past three years trying to get a strong enough signal to stream movies in my living room downstairs. This unit did the trick. i even get a strong signal in my garage almost a block away! Significantly better than any wireless unit I have ever owned.

Setup was simple and quick. Since we upgraded to this product, our internet connection problems have stopped.

Much more stable than my Asus RT-AC87R, downloaded lastest firmware and it just works across both 2.4 and 5 ghz.
