Wow...this gives me a strong signal. I needed to reach a workshop outside my house and..it does!

bought this for a repair shop i worked for since our old router went to crap. so far shes holding well and speeds were noticeably better. setup wasn't too hard to do and i personally enjoy you can use a app to tinker with settings.

Should have bought it first. Had mid level Cisco. Router wouldn't reach the other end of the house. Has plenty of strength to reach out past the house and into the back yard. Most of my cell phone calls are made through wifi first and now they don't drop. Best investment I made yet. Alot easier to set up than the Cisco.

I was having major problems with my previous router. I also used a booster to get extra square footage of coverage, but it was still very hit or miss. I spoke to a very knowledgeable lady at Best Buy who seemed to understand my problem. She recommended this router. She could have recommended the more expensive upgrade from this one, but she said for me, the upgrade would be over-kill. I purchased this router and found it very easy to install and set up. Plus, I no longer need to use the booster. All my hardware (three TVs, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, printer, three blue ray disc players, and visiting guests connect without any drops or problems. Thank you Netgear and especially the lady at my local Best Buy!

Replaced a router I had had for a few years, It was very slow with downloads and would seem to lock up my laptop. Read reviews about the Netgear Nitehawk and made the purchase. What a difference. No dead spots anywhwere in my house. I get top speed for downloads and uploads. Well worth the price.

So far so good. Had some trouble upgrading the firmeware, maybe didn't wait long enough but I was in a hurry.

I bought this to upgrade a Linksys AC1200+ which gave me terrible coverage in my house. The instillation was not hard and rather straightforward. The coverage with my new router is excellent. I have a great signal throughout my 3000+ sq ft house. It also was on sale for a fantastic price.

This is by far the best wireless router I have ever owned. The range is twice my last router and have much better speed with this router as well. If you have multiple people on and a large house this is the router you need. I bought an extender to help with range outside but don't even need it.

I have been working with a 2nd Gen Time Capsule for the past few years. It has done it's job decently well in an apartment, 1200 sq ft home, and now our 4400 sq ft home. I realized one day it was time to get with the new AC technology (I actually work for a technology integrator and kept selling better product than I owned). I have read reviews on the Nighthawks and decided it was the right move for me. I purchased this router, brought it home and was blown away by the ease of setup. Downloaded an app on my phone and 5 minutes later I was rocking some awesome speeds. I ran a speed test with my Time Capsule before shutting off the network. I pay TWC for 50 Mbps download and got 36 on average on 3 tests. I installed the Nighthawk and ran 4 tests in the same exact spot. Again, paying for 50 Mbps, and I averaged 55 download with 14 upload. This thing is a mini tank. I love it. I sell all my customers on Nighthawk gear now. The setup is crazy simple and the product performs beyond expectation.

Great I know get y fie through out the house. Before I could only get it in the livening room.

When purchased this wasn’t the top of the line but far better than most. For streamlining no multiple TVs and having kids on their various devices at the same time, this is performing really well. Also probably one of the fastest set ups I’ve done compared to other routers.

Netgear will always be my router of preference. I tried others brands but none compare to Netgear for quality and easy of use.

I was having problem with the WIFI router that was supplied by my internet provider. My Nest CAM would hang and stop working. The WIFI in would drop when I was in certain rooms of my house. I decided to get this router and all my issues have gone away. Great purchase. Easy to setup.

My router in one end of the house and Xbox one in other, I get about 20 mbps with all this distance. Great buy.

Easy set up. Brought my equipment up to date. Significantly increased the speed of my network.

I have 5 tvs, 4 phones, 2 kids constantly on their own playstation. My wife and I will stream shows all at the same time and have not had any issues. I recommend this device. My house is 3 story, and I get reception all throughout.

I like this router, I like the looks and the stats and the interface wasn't bad. My issue was when I tired t change the default password I lost all connectivity; worked on it for a couple days. Maybe it's me or maybe the user interface isn't intuitive, but I've had plenty of routers before and have worked in IT my whole life. Not sure what happened. Luckily the defaul password is unique.

This has helped me to be able to talk anywhere in my house, before I had dead spots and would lose calls.

I bought this router to replace an older, outdated router. The set-up was a little tricky. The last two steps in the directions were out of order. Eventually I called Customer Service and told them I was having a problem with the installation. They told me that I had to do Step No. 4 and then do Step No. 3. I told them that the directions that were included in the box were wrong, customer service didn't seem to care. After I completed Step No. 4 and then Step No. 3, everything was okay.

Looking to dump "rental" wireless from TWC - and improve coverage in home. This did the trick. Easy set up - works flawlessly.
