We were having dropout problems with our Wi-Fi. I had thought that it was actually a problem with the signal level of our service. That was, until a more complete failure of our router, and older Netgear model, brought things into sharper Focus. Installing this unit was a snap. The app that Netgear has devised to configure and allow regular monitoring of this device is quite comprehensive and very easy to use. Short story very long, there was nothing wrong with our internet service, it was simply a router that was in the process of failing. If you are wondering about your internet service, are experiencing dropouts, or are not getting the coverage that you want out of your current router, give this one a try. It is a nice mix of features and price, and as I said, setup could not be easier.

The range is fantastic! It can be used to set up a VPN and also like a personal cloud.

A very good product, the signal is now great in the house and it reaches all the way to the backyard.

The setup for this wifi router is one of the easiest I've ever used and the speeds produced have been as advertised. I'm getting good speeds throughout a 3000 sqft single story home except on the other side of my kitchen where the signal is likely interfered with some by my appliances.

This is a great router, easy to setup and offers great coverage and speed. I replaced an N300 model, with this R7000, and the difference was noticeable immediately. It has enough features to satisfy most people, but is easy to setup and use for people that aren't as tech savvy.

I was running into problems streaming video from Netflix and playing online games. After reading the reviews, I selected the Nighthawk and I'm glad I did. It was simple to setup and has been performing well. I haven't had any hiccups with streaming video, games or with connectivity. Great purchase!

This thing is pretty fast, but I feel it doesn't have quite the range as I expected. I have a 4000 square foot house and it doesn't hit everywhere like our previous router... the first month was full of lag spikes and needed to be reset almost every other day. Now it's working fine but was annoying to have to deal with that.

This is a reliable router that provides fantastic coverage in my two story home. It even reaches to my detached garage and large backyard! It connects multiple devices flawlessly and streams video to multiple devices with no buffering. Highly recommend this Nighthawk!

Had a Linksys router that would sporadically lose connection. After an hour on the phone with tech support i decided to ditch it. This router is excellent. Comes with an app for your phone as well. Great speeds for uploading and downloading. Great for gaming online.

This router was very easy to set up and greatly improved the wireless performance in our household.

Tried several routers before purchasing this one. I have to say this router is excellent, signal goes through walls and my devices work as if they were connected directly to the computer. Fast surfing, faster downloads, excellent signal strength. Covers my area of 4000 SQ FT, highly recommend it!

I have been very pleased with this item. It works great and does exactly what it's suppose to do.

This device is severely underrated and will blow you mind from the start. The 5Ghz range is amazing and 2.4Ghz still offers crazy speeds for being a slower range. The installation is super simple and it requires zero effort from the user perspective.

Better range than my old router. Was a little dissapointed it wasnt alot better but it is better none the less.

I came to the store to purchases a highly recommended (Online reviews) ASUS router. But when in store sales people and fellow customers - guided toward the Night Hawk with reports of very reliable operation. It cost $20 less so I got this one. I'm not at all unhappy. Love the fact that it came labeled with the ssid and password that would be necessary to log in in the event of a complete reset. Shape of the plug in might be great for some applications but I plug it into a power strip that sits on the floor. Small movements cause it to be unplugged fairly easily. Would work fine if I had it plugged into a vertical wall. Range is the best that I have ever had in my home. AC option seems to work well for those devices that use it.

A friend recommended and I am so glad they did! We get great coverage throughout our home. Easy setup.
