Works fine for my needs, I don't think it works quite as fast as the cable modem we had before. Could be the new provider.

Easy setup to my existing network. I needed a dedicated Wifi router for my personal devices due to other family member crowding the current one. Works great and easy to use.

After talking to the rep at the store and discussing my needs for the wifi router I choose this one. Have had it for awhile now and I am very pleased. I have a family of 6 and it is able to keep of with the demands put on it. I provides service in all areas of the 2 story house.

Very easy to set up and configure. The app for my phone is great for monitoring and updating settings. It also allows a quick look at every device currently connected. For any non-techies our there, this the router for you.

I know there are newer routers out there but for the money, this is a great choice for routers. I have had a solid performance experience with this router! If it did go down I would purchase this router again.

I used to get poor reception where I live this has sped up my incoming data and offered better reception.

I bought this router as an replacement and upgrade to go along with my new smart tv. So far so good no complaints as of yet.

I never got very good download/upload speeds with your typical routers. I made the decision to make the investment on the Nighthawk and it paid off. Even though my router is about 4 rooms away, roughly 50 feet, I'm getting much better Mbps.

If you are looking for a good router that allows you to get a good wifi connection from anywhere in your home this is it.

I bought one of these about two years ago and was very happy with it. I had used the built-in updater several times with success. However, I tried to update it in August 2019 and something went wrong and the update completely killed the router. Netgear techs work quite diligently with me to fix the unit but it was completely destroyed. They told me to never use the built in up-dater. I should instead down load the firmware update and apply it via a wired connection to the router. For some users this means, they must have a computer with a wired Ethernet connection, and connect an Ethernet cable between the computer and the router to update the router firmware. This can be very inconvenient especially for the neophyte. Netgear should improve their built-in Firmware update utility or remove it all together. Other that this, the router is very good as is evidenced by the fact that I bought another one.

Great router. My only complaint is that it struggles in a larger house. I'll have to pick up a booster for my downstairs.

Some of the configuration is a little hidden, but for the most part it's extremely easy to set up and configure. I replaced a Netgear 7000 that seemed to have died (might have been some spikey electricity) and the coverage on this one is better.

Not too techie so my son helped me to set it up. The directions online line were good. The speed for the WiFi was near the maximum number. I am happy with that. Going from a single band to a dual band has made a big difference.

I was debating between purchasing a better router or a wifi extender and glad I went this route. The extended coverage was what I was wanting and got with this Nighthawk. It was a fair price for the technology as it is not the latest nor oldest.

I was having problems viewing youtube videos on my smart TV with my old G router and this new router was the perfect solution. Everything loads VERY quickly now. I decided to get this router so I will not have to buy another one for a long time.

I immediately saw a big improvement in accessibility and speed. I love my Nighthawk and have already recommended it to a family member! I will definitely buy another Nighthawk if the need for a new router arises.
