As far as I can tell, the router has not caused me any issues. I wish I could say the same for my ISP. It was fairly easy to set-up and you do not have to be an IT expert to do so. I viewed a YouTube video or two and used the instructions provided and did the set up with no issues. Connection via WiFi was simple.

This router has provided excellent range and consistent performance.

Router works fine, I wish they made it easier to control the dual bands. Everything I use is near the router and using the 2.4ghz, guess my neighbors are getting the 5ghz? I dunno. Streaming and gaming seems slightly improved, coming at a time of data restrictions, Im not sure this will matter.. I am a complete novice and set my network up in 25 minutes. I am very happy with my purchase.

This router replaced a Netgear WNDR3700. I needed a model that would handle the growing number of WiFi components in my home. The WNDR3700 would crash once a week or so, which I was able to trace back to the number of devices connecting to it. The Nighthawk has eliminated that problem. Wireless range wise, my signal has improved slightly but noticeably.

I bought this router to replace an older dual band N router. The coverage (even through walls) is better, though not as much as I had thought. The speed is great. I was able to get 150Mb download and the setup is very easy.

Router was easy to set up. The speed on it is amazing.

If you're a gamer or you need maximum speed wireless over 5g this is the router you're looking for. For gamers I recommend not using Qos just prioritize the max speed for your devices instead and your good to go with no lags, using a laptop wirelessly its like been connected wire since you shall get top Internet speed that you're getting from your Isp provider.

It was super easy to install and within minutes we had several channels coming through on our tv. It does have to be in clear view for good service and I thought we were going to be able to hide it behind the TV, so I don't like looking at it but it does work! Sometimes the channels get cut for a second if you walk in front of the antenna but they clear up as soon as you get away from it.

Excellent range and speed easy setup never gives me problems 2nd one

I first bought this router for home use for computer, ipads, iphones, and streaming TV. No disappointment at all. So my office internet service has been extremely slow, and, ruling out other hardware issues, I went to Best Buy and bought this exact same router again. Easy installation and setup and I'm not a geek. Office internet is now FAST! I'm satisfied.

Got this router to replace an older Belkin router. Wanted a larger range inside the house to access my Kindle. Can now receive the signal in all rooms in the house. At the farthest point (50 feet) doesn't get 100% signal but does get enough to access what I want to. NOTE: my house is over 60 years old with a fireplace in the center of the house with a full chimney to the roof. Parents built the house and all inside and outside walls were insulated with aluminum foil coated insulation. Have always had problems with reception because of this. Also not that outside the house the reception was at full strength to across the road (100 feet) and who knows how much farther. Prefer not to trespass. It also shows the other router stations(?) utilized by my neighbors. Never had that before.

My old router couldn't cover my entire house with all the new devices. This Netgear router model R7000 solved that problem completely. It has 2 bands which is great for streaming video from services like Netflix. It is very easy to set up and installation took little time and effort. I would recommend this router for anyone looking for state of the art coverage.

I bought this to update from my old router. Installing is simple. Choosing the specific settings might take some time. The first day streaming Netflix or Xbox was not improved. I then changed setting in the QoS. Still did not really improve. Strange thing, when I reset my modem everything improved. I have done several resets of the modem before and nothing improved. Before Netflix used to stop every 10-15 minutes, often more. Since I bought it I experienced maybe 2 hickups and the device regained connection immediately. It cost more than I originally wanted to spend, but I'm happy I did.

Bought this after having alot of connection dropping at home. we were using an old single band linksys and I just got fed up and purchased this. range is great, have had no connection drops (one during a thunder storm but a power cycle fixed that), and dual band is just amazing. I game so most of my devices are on the 5g band while my family is on the other.

Very easy to setup and has really range, a bit big but it works well.
