Speed and range went up big time after installing this new router!

This was easy to install and works well to make my wifi faster.

Despite having 100 Mbps Internet speed when wired, the wireless on the router provided by my cable company was only getting me 50 Mpbs in the same room, and 5 Mbps on a different floor. Even after putting it in bridge mode and trying two of my own wireless n routers, I was lucky to get 10 Mbps at the most, and it was very hit and miss despite using the an open channel that neighbors were not already using. With a little bit of skepticism about the price, I nevertheless decided to trust the reviews on multiple web sites regarding the performance of this router and I couldn't be happier with my results. Easy to set up, and I am getting the full 100 Mbps consistently all day long on BOTH bands. I truly couldn't be happier, and while I am still not overjoyed with the price I am glad I didn't settle for a less expensive option.

I replaced an older Linksys router with this Netgeat Nighthawk. This router has fantastic range. I had to use a wifi extender with the old router to reach all areas of my home but the Nighthawk does the trick all on its own.

Had a Dlink dir-655 router that was being rebooted once or twice a day because it could not handle the amount of wireless and wired devices connecting to it. Ever since using the Nighthawk router all of our wireless and wired devices have had no problems connecting and staying connected. Best part is I haven't had to reboot the new router since putchase. So far I am extremely satisfied.

My previous router/modem was AT&T U-verse hardware. The router is on the west end of the basement. I needed a range extender on the second floor to cover the east end of the second floor and even with the range extender, signal strength was inconsistent. With the Nighthawk, I have a strong signal throughout the house and no longer need a range extender.

This router really puts the signal out! I have 2500 square foot house and great coverage; even extends signal outside. Easy setup and capable of carrying all my devices! Much better than last router!

I use lot of wireless internet browsing inside our home and the other cheap router was very slow and difficult to connect but since I upgraded to Netgear Nighthawk it is like being linked to TURBO CHARGE!!!!! I am very Pleased!!!
