This was my first upgraded router. I'm glad I got it. It has super fast speeds and never seems to drop a signal. The range goes super far as well. It also supports about 6 devices in my house. Great router!

Easy to install, gave us added distance for reception.

Strong signal on all 3 floors. Lightning fast speeds.

I was having issues with signal strength to the PS4 downstairs. After several reviews I thought I would give this wireless router a try. Signal strength to the PS4 is slightly better then the previous Netgear N900 wireless router..but not much better. Signal strength at the PS4 went from 60-70% to around 85% with the AC1900. Not sure if it's worth the price though.

Upgraded from old router. Great speeds and wi-fi range

Had a router from Optimum. Had repair people here weekly. Couldn't get signal in half my house. Came to Best Buy for an "extender" and sales person said I would be unhappy because the signal would be less when I needed more. Bought the router and haven't had one problem anywhere in my home. Very happy.

This Netgear router is definitely in the upper tier of speed and network options. Its easy to use and simple to hook up. I have absolutely zero problems with it as of today. Two small cons- It could have a bit longer range, and in a big house you would probably need a booster to use wi-fi on other floors. 2nd, it only has slots for 4 wired connections. If you have multiple game consoles, and a desktop or two....you are already out of room. Maybe thats the norm, but i could use another couple slots. Otherwise, its a great router i would heartily recommend. Much better than our last one from a different brand.

Got this NETGEAR - Nighthawk Dual-Band Wireless-AC Router to go with our new cable internet provider. Setup was quick and easy as I kept the same ID and passwords as in my old router. TVs, thermostat, printers, scanner and multiple PCs are all running well.

Easy install and get full bars inside a two story house.

Paid $200 for this router. Could have gone bought the similar router by Apple, but the ability to have up to 6 devices be designated for internet use was the one thing that sold me. In our heavy electronic household, where everyone has more than one way to connect to the internet, ie: desktops, laptops, phones, ipads....ect, we needed something to satisfy everyone. Our old router was sluggish and the range wouldn't access some parts of my house. This router is faster, and internet use doesn't have that drag to it. Plus, there is so much less of internet loss than before. Our old router was a D link. I am very happy with the way the TV stays more connected, and the blue ray player isn't finicky anymore. It did take some time to figure out installation, but after remembering we needed to update the software, it was smooth sailing.

This is my second NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000 -- my network configuration killed my other one (I live in the sticks and use a microwafe connection for internet -- it's on an rj45 capable surge protector now). Excellent coverage in my two-story house. No dead spots.

I purchased this router along with an Arris cable modem and it works great. The connection to WiFi throughout my house is much better and stronger than my single Netgear router/modem I had before. I have full connection outside on the other side of my house so obviously it has some great range on it.

I had been switching routers in and out for two weeks so that I could get wifi to our back room (which isn't very far from the main house, but was an add in so that caused some connection issues), to even trying powerlines and wifi boosters to no avail, this router finally did the trick. It's definitely more than what I would have paid for for a router, but it's worth it for the consistent signal and wide range. I was able to stream movies and online multiplayer gaming all at the same time (from 7 devices and computers) and experienced little interruption and lag time. Only regret is that I wished I had just coughed up the money sooner and saved myself the two week headache of going back and forth between multiple routers and modems.

Works great strong signal all over the house and fast

I got this when I upgraded the speed for my internet. I first got the Linksys of similar features. It was horrible. I got this and what a huge difference! The Netgear blew the Linksys out of the water. I had used Linksys for years. never again. This delivers good signal strength for my 2 story home and many devices. Love it.

I replaced an older router that was paired to a repeater. I was not always able to get a strong signal one floor away from my upstairs unit. In additon, the old one had to be reset repeatedly. The Nighthawk gives a strong signal all over the house and has not needed to be reset once. I've been very pleased and would recommend.
