I came into best buy not knowing what to get besides that i did not want to keep renting one, i got this and it operates fantastic. I can game, watch youtube, while my wife watches her shows. Before with the one we rented from our cable provider out band with will struggle.

Purchasing for household with multiple kids and multiple devices to connect to and was needing to be fast and good wifi. it is serving all my needs of speed, memory and flash with open source firmware. like that the USB is place in front and away from the radio to reduce wifi interference. it is very sturdy and does not move.

My former router failed and my son highly recommended the NETGEAR Nighthawk. The Best Buy Sales Associate provided helpful information about setting up the unit. During setup I had a question and contacted NETGEAR who provided excellent help. The NETGEAR Nighthawk provides outstanding performance.

I needed a new router for some new electronics I got for easier wifi hookup and decided on this one. It was really easy to hookup and you can mount it to the wall as I did. The signal in my house went from having 2 bars in my upstairs back room to 4. I couldn't be happier and it was worth every penny.

Very powerful and easy to install! I now have coverage in parts of my house that did not have before. I also like the feature to add a usb storage device to product. I am also interested in adding other wireless devices to my network using my new device. I would recommend this product to others.

Easy to setup, good instructions, no problems with coverage in a 4000 sq ft house, works great, price reasonable.

we needed to replace our existing router and the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 has been a great replacement. we simple plugged it into and entered our password and off we went.

Great router to get even if you only have only a few devices, it doesn't hurt to have future proof. On top of that it was the easy, simple and fast routers I've set up. It took me less than 10 min. To set up all from my smaartphone and no need to call the cable company (time warner)to register.

I was having issues with getting a good signal in some rooms of my house with my old netgear router. I tried a new netgear router that was less expensive than this one with the same poor results. I then exchanged it for this one and I now get a great signal in all corners and rooms of my house.

My husband bought a new laptop with Windows 8. It wasn't performing well. When I told a customer service representative about the problem, the first thing he asked me about was our current router. He suggested that, perhaps, it wasn't current or powerful enough to run Windows 8 properly. I purchased this Netgear Nighthawk. It was pricey, but easy to install. Now, Windows 8 works as it should, and it increased the internet speed on my laptop, with Windows 7, as well.

We had centurylink with 50 Mbps speed. It never reached 20 mbps when connecting through wifi. After I connected nighthawk the ping improved and the speed was never less than 45 Mbps. Great connection reliability. We connect more than 10 divices to this router and still provides the same amazing speed.

Three Xbox Ones, two Nintendo Switch's, a PS4 and a Gaming Computer along with everything else connected to our network, this was perfect. I went from barley getting any WiFi in my room, to doing a Madden '19 Draft with 8 other buddies online while I also Downloaded a 13 Gig computer game on Steam ( Squad which took roughly 20-23 minutes to DL). It caused zero lag, and still worked better than before. I also played some games online after it was done DL at the same time and constantly had 100% reception in our rooms (genie app). Does the job, would buy a second one if I had a bigger home.

I purchased this router to replace one that was about 3 years old and had grown unreliable. I am very pleased with this router especially the range. The house is about 4000 Sq ft and the signal is usable everywhere. Only gripe so far is that the administration pages are a bit slow when refreshing and applying changes.

My apartment building was too much for my router-modem combo so I gave the night hawk a chance and it has been amazing! The range is great and it's very comforting to know that it supports 5g while most products are still using 3 and 4g This way I know it's going to be very useful for years to cone

The Netgear Nighthawk has been the best router I've ever had. It has great range and thus great coverage and speed throughout my home including both floors. I highly recommend it.

I have setup over 10 of these routers, even have one in my house. It works great. Very good range and balances load real good. If you have a bid home , put on an addition or want WIFIi out by pool in back yard this is what you need.

I don't know too much about WiFi routers but I guessed right when I purchased this one. After having numerous routers that were garbage this Nighthawk model is awesome. After its first installation with my cable modem the two laptops four smart phones and two Xboxes all online at the same time we have experienced zero drops or disconnects and streaming is faster then ever. I usually don't do reviews on products I purchase but this Nighthawk model deserves the good review because it solved all of our disconnecting and lagging problems. I would recommend this router to the average family household with numerous devices anytime.

I purchased this router mainly to increase the range of my wifi as well as to increase the quality of connectivity on my devices. We live in a larger home and had several places where the signal was weak at best. We also have a business line for out Internet service and just never seemed to have the speed one would expect on our wireless devices. That all was corrected once the router was brought online. Setup was simple and the optional Genie app is a nice added accessory to download on you tablet or machines. All and all a very powerful router. A bit expensive but I am finding it worth the money as it has solved issues and inconveniences I have had with other routers.
