2 years down the line and still holding up. Have had zero issues with it.

This item was suggested from a very savvy salesman at Best Buy after we asked for some guidance. He asked us a few pertinent questions about our house size and computer, etc. A very good purchase. Very reliable.

I bought this after reading through a lot of reviews. I upgraded from a basic netgear wireless N router (WNR2000). I found this router to have noticeably better range than my previous one. The router is located in a cabinet, only a few feet off the ground, on the first floor. With the old router I was unable to get a consistent signal in the upstairs bedroom farthest from the router. With the new router I get a consistent signal on the 2.4GHz band. Overall this upgrade was definitely worthwhile.

This was a good upgrade off our previous router, giving us a stronger signal and enhanced coverage. My critique is on its design. The router is huge and the antennae spread out with far more lights than needed. It's ostentatious and difficult to hide somewhere.

We have a lot of wireless devices. About 20 or so between gaming consoles, phones and iPads. Our old router wasn't keeping up. This router doesn't blink at all. It is a great router.

This netgear device has been great. Previously I needed to use a range extender for my old linksys (about 5 yrs old) but this one I don't have to. It reaches out far beyond the walls of my house and has good speeds even if wireless. I have had up to 10 devices hooked up to it, both wireless and wired, and all work flawlessly. Additionally, firmware is updated right inside the Netgear Genie menu and tells you when one is available. I'm also able to access my router through my cellphone and adjust things when needed and it lists every device thats connected.

This is by far the best router I have ever used! I had a modem/router combo before that was also a Netgear but the speeds weren't where they shouldv'e been. With this router I am getting at LEAST what I should be getting if not more!

I bought this router to upgrade our wifi signal from an older N standard. It made a huge difference in speed - I saw double the download speed on my wireless connected items after installing the net gear router. I highly recommend!

I needed a router to reach all rooms and my detached garage and this did it. You must mount hit as high as possible for Good RF propagation. Adjusting the antennas does help with coverage area too! Simple set up.

List all NetGear products, this was simple to setup. I was surprised at the size, though. But it all works A-OK. I haven't used the readyshare backup feature on netgear, but I suppose it would be a good alternative to cloud backups.

I did not want to spend so much for a router but I am glad that I did. My last router was nearly the same price and I felt it never delivered on it's promise of being fast. The Nighthawk has excelled and it keeps over delivering.

Upgraded internet and needed a new router as well and it is currently handling 20 devices in my home with zero issuse and no slow each device is getting full speed and the 5ghz signal will mow cover the whole house and still manage around 60-70% of our 400mbps speed on the opposite end of the house from the router i would definitely purchase again

This router did exactly and more of what we expected! It was easy to install. Works great and handles the 5 streaming TVs, 3 IPads, 3 IPhones, and multiple game consoles sometimes running all at the same time!

I am getting very good throughput with this router. My wireless connection speeds test out much faster than when I was using the build in Wi-Fi on a cable modem and the range and coverage in the house has drastically been increased.

Upgraded from a wireless n and this did the trick. Easy to install swapping out the old unit and our existing wireless network seamlessly updated. Now any device operates from anywhere in the house without lag. All I need to do is figure out some of the more advanced settings for controlling the various streams, there are settings allowing some devices to get only as much bandwidth that is needed leaving more for the hogs like streaming videos through a apple tv or roku

This is a great product. Love how much better my internet service seems to run. The sales associate, Louis was very informative and knowledgeable about the product. My son is a gamer and loves how much faster the internet runs.

Easy to set up. I get max bandwidth that is provided at 100 Mbps all over two story house from my basement. That is 100 Mbps at the 5 GHz frequency band and > 60 Mbps at the 2.4 GHz frequency. Internal routing over Ethernet even higher.

We were on a 3 year old dual band router (Netgear) and at the time we first got it, it was enough. We had 3 cell phones and one PC. Now we have 3 smartphones, two laptops, two Smart TV's, two streaming boxes, a tablet and a wifi printer. We needed something much more robust. I wasn't particular about brand, but after reading the reviews about the AC1900. Nighthawk AND the great price due to Black Friday, I couldn't pass it up! Very happy with this router. Simple setup and able to handle all of our needs.

Works better than our last wifi with faster internet and better signal strength. After using it for several weeks with no issues at all the famous "update now" pops up and since update it seems to loose connection every so often. It's not that bad considering just how bad our previous router was. I've set up the router online and downloaded the genie app but neither one shows any connection issues. I wish it was a littler easier for the amateur to setup and that the next update fixes my issues but overall still better than we had and for the first 3 glorious weeks it blew me away !!!
