works across the 3000 sq ft area and with high speed cable internet. earlier i had to set up 2 routers to cover the house. only issue is that one of the antenna is loose, even after tightening it. overall router experience is great.

Very easy to setup, the range has been very impressive and consistency speaks volumes. Prior routers I've owned had to be reset more than I desired but this one has been performing like a champ from day one!

The router sped up my internet speeds for the computer which is down the hallway! Now, both computers in the house have the same faster speed. The lights are a bit bright, though. Very easy set up too.

This was a replacement for another Netgear router that had died. I found it easy to set up, and configure to handle two gamers, streaming, as well as day to day traffic. So far we've had no speed problems at all, or loss of data.

I have Charter Internet at my house and the router that they give you is junk. I went out and bought this router and haven't had to reset the router once.

Dual Band (5 and 2.4g) plus a guest 2.4 band so it really creates 3 wifi options to divide your wireless devices appropriately. My printer only uses 2.4, for my laptop and smartphone I like the 5g... separating my printer's 2.4 band from guest use is a nice addition to last year's offerings. Paired mine with Netgear's CM700 Cable modem at a package price that beat any other option. Rated most popular for a reason. Quality and ease of use.

I replaced an N router with this AC router. It improved everything. Speed increased from 20 Mbs to 104 Mbs using the same modem. Streaming videos are much better. Setup was very easy and took less than 10 min. I highly recommend this model for anyone looking to upgrade their router.

I got this to replace a similar router from Linksys that kept blocking my access to the Internet. It worked well and it was easy to configure, I was able to reach the maximum speed of my cable connection (150 Mbps) over wifi. I ended up trading it for another Netgear model (AC2400) just because it was cheaper(due to a special promotion) and the performance and reach proved to be the similar over multiple tests.

For years I always purchased the wifi and router combinations. I decided to make a change and purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk and NETGEAR Router. My wifi experience changed dramatically as my internet speed and performance much improved. I highly recommend downloading the Nighthawk app for your iphone or android as this helps with monitoring and maintaining your wifi and internet connections.

The kung-fu router to beat all those old g/n routers. Buy this one and get much smoother movie replays on your household devices. Otherwise have fun watching the buffering icon circle around your screen.

Works great and easy to set up. Replaced a new competative unit that did not work properly out of the box. Exchanged the defective unit for the Netgear and have not had one minute of problems with it.
