If you are looking for a new, high-performance consumer-level router, I can't imagine more value than what you'll find in this one. It's simply got everything a standard home user needs, plus advanced options for those that need a little more. Netgear has come a long way since their early days and they've since risen to the top three in both consumer and business networking. I honestly can't say how impressed I am with them recently.

I use this router at home and work this is by far one of the best routers I have used since I've had issues with my comcast router. I highly recommend this router to anyone looking for great speed.

This product helped us out quite a bit, we live in the country so high speed internet isnt really an option. But it lets us stream Netflix while my son games. Something I wasnt able to do before.

the signal strength and speed are great and it was an easy setup. we run 8-9 devices and no issues.

easy to set up, has not dropped a computer yet, and get coverage in the outside garage on the other end of the house

When I bought this device I had guest staying in the house. Two Kindles, online video game, DVRs, and 4 smart phones and my desktop still was lightning fast over the WiFi. I measured download speeds of 26Mbs on over WiFi, the same as I had directly over the broadband. And it works everywhere in my multi level house.

Very easy to setup, and very fast. Has a very wide range, reaches both my back yard & basement with plenty of power.

Handles 4k network streams from netflix with no problems, has usb 3.0 connectivity for adding network storage. The unit is a bit large but it does well. I have always had Netgear routers, and expect this one to hold up to my daily usage for the next few years. Also you can flash the bios to use DD-WRT if you like. If you don't need that I find the Netgear genie software to be more than adequate for my needs.

My wireless speed went from 15 mbps to 121 (yeah 121!) when I switched to this router from cheap leased Comcast one. I was paying Comcast for high speed and certainly not getting it. Enough said.

Setup was easy (used my mobile device), no issues and pain free. Performance (in coverage and signal strength) was mainly what i was looking for as i didn't need speed given limitations by the isp. Remote administration via the app also works very well. I'm using the matching mesh extender and it works seamlessly.

Bought this to upgrade from an older netgear router. This router has improved the signal range in my house by a ton and is very fast. I should have bought this a long time ago!

Been using this router for about 9 months now and I love it. No issues and can handle all the devices I throw at it. Which is about 15 all at once.

I'm a netgear guy....have bought nothing but netgear routers and never had any problems with their products. The range is very good on my 1600 square foot house and it does what its suppose to.

I have quite a few Wi-Fi devices in my house (computers, tablets, Blu-ray players and a Roku) and I wanted strong and reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout our house for both the 2.4 and 5k bands. I wanted Netflix playback to be solid and smooth at all of the locations in my house. The R7000 fits the bill perfectly. It provides more than enough coverage on both bands to easily cover my house. More importantly the signal is just as fast as a wired connection. I have Comcast Blast and I usually see 59mbps over a wired connection but with the R7000 is get the same speeds over wireless. Now if Comcast would ever offer more speed in the Twin Cities market... I HIGHLY recommend the R7000 Nighthawk.

I went to best buy looking for a good wireless router and I came across this and I love it. Setting it up was so easy. I highly recommend this wireless router, no more buffering and lost connection.

I'm not a Tech genius but Netgear Genie made the installation of this very easy. It has three separate networks built in. Guest, 2.4 & 5g. The 5g runs about twice as fast as the others for me. I see speeds of 80-90 mbps wirelessly on it. The other two run about 30mbps. It's hooked to my Xfinity cable modem and I pay for the 2nd tier service. My old N150 Router from them was lucky to get 25 mbps. This also covers a 3000 square foot 2 story house very well. Again the 5g better than the other band. Solid buy.

Purchased this router for second family location. Currently own in primary home and works great. Just as easy to set up the second time around.

I've used various versions of this model over the past 7 years and it's just a great router with great coverage. I use it as an access point, and one of the features they added was combining the 2.4 and 5GHz bands such that the router will determine which channel is best for the connected user, seamlessly, much like today's consumer mesh systems. Netgear managed to make a very good product better!

Chose this one up at BB with the help of the staff. It went well with the router I also purchased, I will say I have better signal and no buffering on any of my devices.AAAA
