This is a decent router that covers my 3000 sqft home pretty adequately. There are probably about 2-3 dark spots in the home where the connection drops but not something that you would not expect with a 3000 sqft home. The connections is pretty solid in most rooms both downstairs and upstairs. The Netgear app makes it easier to manage your security settings and parental controls for peeps with kids. Overall well worth the money.

I upgraded to the nighthawk from a 5-yr old base model from the same company. The difference in range and reliability (across all devices) is staggering. Additionally, I've noticed a big improvement in resource-balancing when I'm playing on Xbox live, regardless of the other wifi traffic. It really is a great piece of hardware. Other devices more offer more range or bells and whistles, but I'm very happy with the Nighthawk, especially given the purchase price.

At first when unboxing the router, it looked awkwardly huge. The design also looked a bit odd. After hooking it up to my Time Warner Internet I was immediately didn't care about the looks. This thing is super fast and the range in amazing. I have a 7,600 sq ft. lot and I easily get the signal to the next door neighbor's house. I was able to hide the router behind the television in my office...along with the modem. The mounting holes come in very handy.

I needed a fast wireless router that I could use to replace the non-user-friendly, non-customizable xfinity access gateway I had. This modem definitely did the trick and easy to use.

This router works great. Fast speeds. Can create your own cloud. It is pricey though and is more than what most people would need. Make sure you are getting the right router for you.

The router is extremely easy to set up. Its been over 10 years since I actually had to buy a router (had Xfinity) so I a lot of research. Its been 3 weeks now and streaking 4K over WiFi with ease. My Speed test avg about 228 Mbps on a 200Mbps package. Comes with a Cat 5e cable, but I elected to pick up a Cat 6. I got about a 3% increase in download speeds. Not bad for a cheap cable upgrade.

The Nighthawk is the best router I have purchased and works great for our office with multiple users accessing the wifi around the clock.

This product improved the wi-fi in my house where we use a lot of hand held items and computers, often at the same time. It is especially reliable which is important when I am working at home.

It was exactly what we needed for our home. With all of the things we have running here (multiple xbox's, playstations, tv's, cell phone's, ipods etc,) this thing was a life saver!

During the past 20 years I've used routers for a lot of functions; network sharing, AP, DSL, cable, etc. I've never used such an awesome device, and after buying one for my office imp going to buy one for my home. The router is incredibly easy to set up, rock solid performance, awesome range, and blazing fast transfer speeds. Turns a standard external HD into NAS, shares printers natively, and does your laundry. Definitely worth the price of admission.

I love this router. I got it for my small business and it's amazing. I don't have any dead spots, can run multiple devices at the same time. Would recommend this router to any one.

This router provides excellent spend needed for my wireless internet connection. This router surprisingly recognizes the modem and the spend is exceptional. I am especially happy with the ease in setting up the Nighthawk router, it's extraordinarily simple and fast. Great device, which I highly recommend.

My TWC provided combo modem/router began to drop my connection several times per day so I switched to this and it has been great. Very happy with my purchase. Easy to setup and use.

We had gone to a new carrier for internet to get a better price. They wanted to charge me $9 a month and $49.99 for a hook up charge. I bought the Netgear router and we easily hooked it all up. I have had no problems with it handling all the live streaming, computers, I pads and such. I am most impressed. I was told by a cable tech that it is not the internet company that you use that's important. It is the quality and performance of the router. A+

A great router for the price! Works well with 3 iPhones, 3 computers, an iPad, two iPods, and a stream TV. We can have multiple devices and still have connectivity.

The range on this unit is fantastic. I placed it on my first floor and I remain connected to the WIFI even when I go outside and cut my grass. I also like that it offers multiple bands.

I just have it in sitting on the lamp table and it works fantastic for the laptop and other devices that may be in use. from the living room and in the dining room.

The setup is near idiot proof, and the quality of the wireless signal is incredible. Granular settings too for those of us who like full control over their equipment via a web GUI.

I bought the Nighthawk router as an upgrade from my previous Netgear router. It has better encryption security and is faster than my old router. I am very pleased with its performance.
