This product has greatly enhanced our wifi capability. It is awesome. Easy to set up and no issues. Only 4 stars because it has a funky shape the antennas are ugly. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Love the Netgear Nighthawk R7000. It's easy to set up. Provides support for dynamic DNS which is a breeze to set up. Having a bit trouble with USB HDD.

This router was very easy to set up. Replaced my Belkin with this, as I was losing connectivity frequently. With the NetGear the drops have been drastically reduced. Not eliminated, but MUCH better.

I really like the way this router performs. I have a strong signal strength throughout my home main floor and full basement. I can even connect across the street at my neighbors home.

I've had several routers through the years. This is the first one that could reach the dead zone at the other end of the house with all of my devices. I'm very pleased with it.

Well, this router lasted only 3 years without issue. So, giving it 3 starts. Otherwise, I do not recommend it. Since last few weeks, it started dropping connection for no reason. I have to restart the device every time to make it work. It loses connection several times a day. A quick research shows it is a common issue, possibly due to the firmware. This is a very old router and the lack of feedback or support from NETGEAR makes it apparent, they do not support this router as much as others. Other brands at least respond to customers' reviews. Best Buy should stop selling this if there is not much customer support from NETGEAR. I do not recommend anyone buying this unless they want to take a chance.

House design (shape and materials) dictates which router is best. My 1770 square foot home has an open architecture. Overall speed and signal strength has been top notch with this router. Love the dual bands and dedicated port when I'm ready to add a weather cam. I've had zero issues and stream flawlessly with both Roku3 and Firestick.

I have a 1600 sq ft ranch. Router is on one end and there is a strong signal down to the other end. The extra guest network makes it easy for friends and family

Considering we previously had a netgear 1000 single band this was a great leap in signal strength and considerable range. We use this for a multiple path router and wifi. Currently in the basement of a two story house and will feed a smart tv and devices at the top. Its also nice having the app to monitor who's using how much and be able to limit access to kids.

Swapped an asus router that was having low connectivity issues with and for this netgear router. It has worked great and haven't had any of the issues I had with the asus 68r

I have had this night hawk for about 2 years now and this has kept up with my day to day usage I like how they keep adding features after 2 years they added easy vpn so you can connect to your network using your smart phone, pc,ect. the last update that I did I had troubles but I believe that my isp was the blame for unstable connections and a bad download but i was able to correct it by downloading the update manually on my pc and applying it to the router. This router is great out of the box for the not so tech savy but for the people that love messing with settings you will not be disappointed. The antennas are threaded so you can add a better antenna(s). overall very pleased on range, multiple devices demands, the usb 3.0 drive support ,the usb 2.0 printer support. just a well rounded device.

I have two boys that play video games and we watch movies off of the internet. This works good for all of this. Plus, I did not need an extender to get the signal throughout three floors of my house!

I needed a new router and the sales rep helped me find the right one for my household needs and this router is everything and more than what I expected. I would buy another one easily. It's that good

Incredibly fast router, easy setup, and covers my entire 3600 sq ft home with incredible ease! It can handle my laptop, 2 iphone's, and a smart tv on at the same time with lightning fast ease! Internet does not have any lagging or slowness problems like I had with my previous router. Movies on Netflix and hulu, and videos on youtube videos are excellent with no interruption or lag. Well worth the $200!! I am sorry I didn't buy this sooner!

I replaced an old wifi. This one is great, no lag or connection issues. I like the guest partition. Set up was not as straight forward as I would have liked.

This router is a great, easy to set up unit that works well in your home or in a small business setting. Has a lot of features, or you can just takes the defaults and run as is!

Originally purchased a modem/router combination. That was an expensive mess that did not solve our issues. Took it back and purchased 2 separate components. Forced to purchase the Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-band wifi router and ARRIS Surfboard cable modem on the same day. Expensive day indeed. The new electronics solved our issues (no more intermittent service, lag time, disconnects, slow or 200x/day reboots, etc.). Hard to say which component championed the fix, but all’s well thus far. The modem does the job, no apparent issues, easy/seamless setup (not thrilled about the white color – looks like a can opener on my desk sitting next the bad-boy looking router). The router?! Well, the fully capable Nighthawk does its job; however, plan on spending and entire Saturday with usernames / passwords / renaming your network / reconnecting all your wireless devices / lack of user guides, etc. I’m not an engineer, nor super tech savvy with networking hardware (more proficient with software), but I was a dog-with-a-bone and FINALLY got it done – lost an entire Saturday but the fam is happy, especially the gamer. I hope there’s a smoother method of setup by the time my modem/router die.

My family uses a ton of devices (phones, tablets, laptops, gaming systems, etc.). This router runs them all flawlessly! Great range, lots of features, and I love the two USB ports for media sharing!

I had some wifi issues before so I was recommended to this product. Overall it seems as if my speed is better, but I think I could get the same results for something cheaper. Overall it works great.

I work with graduate students in a classroom setting and was constantly experiencing wifi issues that kept me and the students from connecting to the net. After reading reviews of this router I decided to buy it and am so glad I did. The connectivity problem disappeared and hasn't returned in over a year now. This router is awesome and even works very well in a building that's known for being problematic.
