Best router we have had yet!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best router we have had yet! We had a computer guy tell us that a lot of routers fail because of the constant pinging they get from cell phones on wifi and this was one that combats that problem and we have not had an issue with this one since. All of other ones start to fail around 6 months and this one is still going strong. We also have 8 things constantly pinging our router for wifi.

Much faster than my old router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an 802.11g router that wasn't letting me get even close to the 100MB/s internet speed I was paying for. This one is much better!

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this router because I was having bandwidth issues with my older wifi router. This has completely fixed our issues. We have 5 mobile devices, plus Xbox, Fire Stick, and a Roku all working off this router and we are no longer competing for bandwidth. The setup was very easy!

Another great Netgear router!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using several Netgear routers, I wanted to upgrade to something a little faster with more range. I am very pleased with this one for sure, didn't really gain a lot of range over my 6250 but it is fast. Like all the previous Netgear routers, it was very easy to set up. I would recommend this to anyone with a fast internet connection with a lot of wireless devices.

Simple plug'n'play with high performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy setup (just plugged it in and the passcode is printed on a sticker on the top of the unit. Throughput is high and quality of service is great. I have two dual ATSC tuners upstairs (HD HomeRun units) streaming OTA HD content on the network, and any PC connected to my network over AC can easily stream this content (into Media Center for example). Couldn't ask for anything more. Well, I guess it could be less expensive? But, I suppose you get what you pay for.

works well, better coverage than D-Link DIR-820L
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced D-Link DIR-820L which was less than a year old and was requiring frequent reboots despite having the latest firmware. I haven't used nearly all of the features yet, but have had no problems at all compared to the D-Link. Firmware upgrade was almost painless, with the router handling all of the downloading on its own rather than having to download it to my local machine, unzipping the file, then pointing the router to the file for the update. It does take up a lot of space though, and lights up a dark room with its many LEDs. Fortunately you can turn off all but one of the LEDs (which is still a bright white.)

Good speeds, good range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good speeds, good range. Running connected to gigabit internet. Have on first floor of 2 story home. Get solid speeds throughout basement and 2nd floor (300 Mbps). Have had a few issues where it seems to go down when my kids connect their Chromebooks for school. Probably 5 occurrences over a month.

Excellent range and strong signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to this router from an older NETGEAR WGR614v5 model that was purchased in 2005. Connecting to this router for the first time was like going from dial-up to cable! We have multiple ipads, laptops and other devices in our home, and there are no drops and everyone is satisfied. If you had complaints from the kids previously about intermittent wifi, this router will solve your problem!

Best router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this for just under a year. I had an Asus before this and I loved that. There are so many more options in the settings to tweak with allowing me configure everything on my network. Great, strong, and far signal even through walls. Very easy to setup and manage with the Blackhawk app (even remote management)
