This thing is a beast. Great router but it's a bit pricey. The 5GHZ AC is blazing fast and I get full bars in every area of my house.

I wanted to save money by getting my own router instead of renting from my internet provider. I found some great blogs on websites going through step by step how to do so (changing from coax to ethernet connection, etc), but most importantly they say that if you make the switch, the provider will say they can't offer troubleshooting support since its not their router. I made sure to get mine set up before returning my old one, and ended up having to call Netgear support during the setup process. They were super helpful and got everything working. Then I returned my old router and am saving $15 a month in rental fees. This thing will pay for itself in under a year, and my internet speeds are actually better than they were before! Their app is also super helpful for setting up network permissions and checking which devices are connected.

purchased this because the standard comcast wifi/modem didn't work well in my house. this seems to have better range and coverage.

I had what I thought was a quick router but the Nighthawk just blows the others away. When I update apps on the I phone it is almost instantaneous.

I needed a new router and did some research to find one that would give me good results. This one had some excellent reviews so I decided to give it a try. For me it was a little confusing hooking it up but after a little effort and patience all is good. The WiFi works great and streaming movies is a breeze. So far, so good

Set up is simple as long as you know what to input. This product has worked flawlessly.

The router was easy to set up. Our previous routers were pieces of junk. All of our devices work wonderfully now.

After months of dealing with multiple Apple Airport Express routers linked together to extend my range, I decided I needed to upgrade to a new router that could accommodate multiple wireless devices and provide great wi-fi range. After doing a lot of research, I chose the Nighthawk. I have had it for about a month now, and have not had any problems whatsoever (e.g. no buffering, no dropped signals, etc.). I can stream movies via Netflix, listen to music wirelessly, and surf the net on my computer, and all at the same time!

I have a router from my cable internet provider but had very slow speeds on my devices. This product solved all that and is easy to install. Set up was very easy and worked immediately. I am very satisfied with this product. Just wish it was not so pricey to solve my speed problems, but overall very happy all my devices work great since installing this.

All the manufacturers make good and bad products but the Netgear R7000 is hands down the best and the most stable router I have ever used. Installation of my new router resulted in coverage of my entire three story house and with around 20 devices throughout the house, we never have a break in performance. Awesome products.

This router had increased the WiFi signal strength at my home allowing internet service in all rooms of my home.

Was not going to pay cable extra for the router. They failed to charge me for over a year for it (I guess my good fortune). Decided to buy this one based on the reviews. I'm fairly good at technical things and was hoping this would be as easy to setup as everyone said it would be. Well, it sure was! I'd say from out of the box to finishing up, I spent about 30 minutes. The only thing that didn't work was my password from my last router didn’t move over to my new one even though I changed it. Once I plugged in the password into smart tv, BAM, all the internet channels came to life. It's working great and I hope it continues to do so.

This is a great product with nice features. It was easy to set up, secure, and access.

I found out that the Netgear router I had been using could not handle the Comcast blast package so I was paying for something I couldn't make use of. This can cover more than I'm currently getting. Also the range is far superior. Setup was pretty easy. I have no complaints.

So glad we upgraded this router is great for gaming and doesn’t interfere with the speed of our laptops and ipads

This router definitely upped the range of our WiFi. The only problem is that the 5g signal isn’t dependable, it randomly drops.

Speed did get faster, but not as fast as expected. It did help with my devices being connected without continually being dropped which is great!

I was vary pleased with this product, I can go to the back of my property which is one acre and stream music with no problem.

Was looking to upgrade my 2 year old netgear wireless router as we were experience issues with range and throughput. The Nighthawk took a little longer to set up - probably my fault - but once it was up and running the improved range and speed were phenomenal!
