This is THE best wifi router I have ever owned. I live in a 2 story 1800sq ft townhouse. My old router was good but I always lost a signal when out on my back patio. My router is located in my upstairs office at the front of the house. I kept the router in the same spot and added the satelite downstairs in the living room. The signal is so great I not only get it on my back patio and then some. I even get it on my phone across the street and several feet in any direction.

After you get them all connected and running, there is no more hassle to it. I have had them up and running for months and have not had to adjust them, reboot them or even think about them. I did end up moving one to my first floor to cover it better, but the main router is on my third floor. After moving it, I plugged it in and it booted up and reconnected to the group. Now my WiFi covers my entire house and my yard.

I returned google WiFi to get this Orbi. I have a 4000sqft house. The Orbi is three times faster. It penetrates walls 100% better and delivers exceptional speeds at a distance. I tested both for weeks and Orbi delivers 3 times faster speeds close and at a distance. Wired both were the same. WiFi was the difference which was significant. I have gigablast with Cox. Orbi was the reason I kept my gigablast. It makes what I pay for gig speed worth it.

Works as advertised, solved my weak signal problems and dead spots.

Replaced a good Netgear router with the Orbi system. This made the whole house into one WiFi system (mesh). In the past I used a WiFi extender in far part of the house. No need for that now.

Great signal everywhere in flat 2000 square ft office

I actually really love these routers! It keeps the whole house running at top speeds. I haven’t found any flutter or break up in service since installing them. The mobile app is awesome and very easy to use. I was very impressed by the range of these routers and didn’t think two could over 1400 sq feet. But, it does and I highly recommend.

Needed better wireless coverage throughout the whole house reaching security cameras on the property and mobile devices around the house. My signal is now excellent throughout the house with this mesh type router kit. Wish it produced a separate SSID for the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands like on the Netgear's routers I had in the past to specify which devices I want to dictate to connect to. I hope Netgear can enable this feature again in a future firmware update.

Moved from the rbr40 to the rbr50 and am pretty disappointed with not being able to shut off 5g so my smart lights and cameras could easily connect. I had to fire up the rbr 40 run a lan cable to the rbr 50 as an access point. Then drag it around the house close to the devices to use 2.4. If didnt have the rbr40 available i would have been returning the rbr50 and buying a different brand.

I recently purchased the Orbi for my home. We had spotty internet with frequent drops in my house especially upstairs. We are a big online gaming family so this was not acceptable. The Orbi was a simple install and has an app to walk you through step by step and checks completetion and connection every step of the way. You can even hardline your PC into the remote access point and get full speed from your router in another area of the house!

I bought the kit that included the Orbi WiFi Router + 1 Orbi WiFi Satellite. It hooked up quickly to my current router and the setup was easy. I have two story house so placed the router on 2nd floor and the Satellite on 1st floor. I had no problems connecting to the network with my devices and the coverage seems to be ok so far. I might look into one more WiFi Satellite and that should finish off my needs. I see Best Buy now offers the AC3000 Satellite now.

My network is awesome now. Range is improved significantly. Speed has doubled. This is a must buy for anyone

I love the coverage and speed this router gets me in my home. It is an added bonus that the satellite receiver has 4 wired ports - allowing me to extend wireless capability to non-wireless devices. The only downside is lack of configuration options. It would be nice to have an easily configurable guest wireless network or other network zone segmentation options (I have read forum postings that this may be coming in later firmware releases). However, what it lacks in configuration it makes up for in speed and coverage!

I use the ori for my business and have been very happy to date. We have had no drops in service and no dead zones. Fairly easy to setup and install. Bought a second unit for my home.

My home network was becoming outdated and as I add technology I wanted to upgrade my network to accommodate security cameras, smart switches and lighting, etc. The Orbi System was easy to install and I was up and running very quickly. While I have not had it a long time, I am very pleased with it. The satellite in my living room is providing speeds over 200mbps and streaming movies is simple now.

Simply Awesome. Had one small glitch with setting up but was able to work through it easy enough. This product works great. Have been using for a month and have had zero connectivity issues and enjoying fast peed internet wirelessly! Before that I was using the cable companies router which was slow and problematic.

One of the best mesh products on the market. The ability to set it up in a basic manner for the less technical and options for the more advanced users as well.. overall great product

I had a few apple airport router which has not had good performance from day 1. Paying for 150MBPS and only saw about 50 of it. Plugged in the orbi and was up and running in less than 10 min with the firmware update included. My wifi is now reliable and stretches way past the limit of my airports. Smooth reliable and easy to install what more can you ask for in a router system. I am an IT specialist and highly recommend this mesh router setup.
