Replaced an old Net gear router that was at end of life. The new system with the satellite unit makes, the laptops work much better and faster. Very pleased and easy to install.

Simply Awesome. Had one small glitch with setting up but was able to work through it easy enough. This product works great. Have been using for a month and have had zero connectivity issues and enjoying fast peed internet wirelessly! Before that I was using the cable companies router which was slow and problematic.

I worried I might need the three pack, but this two pack easily covers the entire 4500sqft and outdoor streaming. I wanted to replace my older Netgear because I kept getting dead spots and sometimes the streaming would drop. Speeds have been great, works seamlessly with 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies and actually look nice. I would definitely recommend.

Best purchased made with No regrets. I pay for 50/50 mbps from Verizon but I get 150 Mbps from Orbi. I already saved $30 plus tax a month. No problem to connect if you can read.

Moved from the rbr40 to the rbr50 and am pretty disappointed with not being able to shut off 5g so my smart lights and cameras could easily connect. I had to fire up the rbr 40 run a lan cable to the rbr 50 as an access point. Then drag it around the house close to the devices to use 2.4. If didnt have the rbr40 available i would have been returning the rbr50 and buying a different brand.

I tried an Eero mesh system and found it to be inconsistent. Working from home and having important video meetings, I need to have a system that is consistent. The Netgear Orbi system was worth the extra investment. Faster and more consistent speed. Purchased an additional AC3000 unit to increase range. Also, the iOS app is easy to use.

Worth the Price

At first I was skeptical that it would be worth the price. We had a fairly decent router but was dealing with constant buffering and connection issues at different areas of the house. Decided to go for it and purchased this. It was totally worth it! Our speeds went from around 20-30 down to 120-130 down. The setup was also very easy. It was pretty much plug-n-play, download an app on your phone and follow the steps.

We upgraded our internet speed with everyone now working from home. Our old Apple Time Capsule could not handle the higher speed. The Netgear Orbi was extremely easy to set up and the extenders provide great coverage for the entire house and backyard. The dashboard is easy to use and the security software that comes with the router has worked flawlessly

It is fairly easy to install and works well. I used to have lots of dead zones in my house and that is no longer the case. I was able to get all my devices to work with this. I have a wifi thermostat, door bell, security cam and Roku for TV. All good. Additionally I have a Mac desktop, iPhone and iPad.
Be prepared to spend about an hour setting it up but once you get everything on board you will be happy you got it. I am.

m an IT engineer and I deal with WiFi and general network performance ALL THE TIME. I’ve setup and managed hundreds of WiFi products for enterprise and residential situations. The Orbi product line is the best WiFi experience for almost any setting. At my current home I’ve used Ubiquiti, Linksys, Cisco, Ruckus, TP-Link, and even other Netgear products (in standard & mesh formats). This pair of Orbi SB50s is the best setup hands down. Blanket coverage, range, clean device connection performance, smooth connection experience, and advanced features. Period. I’m such a nerd that my favorite feature might even be the wired connection capability for backhaul. Most mesh WiFi systems will only backhaul using there wireless radios on a different band. My house has some network cabling run to other areas so I can connect the two devices hard-wired. Every network technicians dream! You will be doing yourself a huge favor with the Orbi solution. Good job Netgear. Highly recommend.

Great product. Keeps the connection active without any interruptions. Speed is consistent based on device location at home. Perfect handover from base to satellite based on the signal strength when device is moved.
Had issue with frequent disconnections but the reset made it act normal.
Very happy with the purchase.

Easy to setup, no problems yet!
I bought the 2 pack thinking that it would be enough for my townhouse, but I was wrong. I just needed the router itself! The range for just the router itself is pretty impressive.
If not the range, then the connectivity is amazing, I have 7 items connected to the wifi, and there is no lag or any performance issue yet.
I live in a 3 floor townhouse btw.

Got this and I was finally getting the most out of my internet speed. Not only that, but the form factor was cute and in the name. I love the easy setup and simple smart home looking design. Pulsating lights and and a nice white to it looks neat on my desk. Little wiring and the signal never drops for me. Love these little orbis. Buying another satellite just for my room next time. So cute :3

I current use ATT fiber and pay for 1 gig speeds but never really saw it in any of my devices including it being connected directly to my ATT provided modem/router. Even after speaker with them it never really got above 300 megs download. I purchased this mesh network based on reviews and recommendations I found online and I got to say, I now see a big difference when it comes to connectivity in my home. I now have no dead spots, all my devices work simultaneously without any lag or slowness. No buffering from my movie services and load time were cut more than half from how fast this thing runs. I now see closer to 600 megs download speeds wirelessly and closer to 1000 mega download when connected directly to the primary router. This thing really works great with everything in my home and I will say that I have anywhere between 30 to 40 connected devices to it and this mech network handles all of my devices with ease. As I was recommended this from different individuals, i too recommend this for anyone trying to get more from their ISP.
