Customers find value in the D500 DSLR Camera's superior image quality, fast frame rate, and excellent low-light performance, frequently praising its ability to capture sharp images even in challenging conditions. However, some users noted concerns regarding the lack of a built-in flash, battery life, and the cost and availability of XQD memory cards. The camera's weight was also mentioned as a potential drawback by a few users.

In preparation for a cruise with my wife last month to Alaska, I purchased the D5600 and took some great photos. I had not owned a dedicated camera since cell phone cameras became a valid option. Shooting with the 5600 reignited my love for photography and I quickly returned the 5600 and upgraded to the Nikon 7500. Although a great camera, I still was not satisfied and took the plunge to go for the D500. Man, was this the right move. I am in love with the camera! It just feels so nice, takes great pics, and the focusing system is fantastic with 153 points.
Highly recommended.

I really like this camera. It takes great photos. I like the fast fps. Can't wait to try it out at my grandsons football game. I am not a professional photographer but I really like playing with the different settings. I did a lot of research before I bought this camera and I'm really glad I bought it

Glad I made the choice to get the D500! Tack sharp images, great color, intuitive and almost seamless changeover. I use it as my workhorse camera. It is my go-to for portraits and events. Don't overthink your purchase, just do it!

I purchased this Nikon camera body as an upgrade to my D5300 to get improved shutter speed and ISO sensitivity. The D500 delivers. Although the MP are not improved, darn near everything else that matters is. Amateur/semi-pro photographers will not be disappointed.

Amazing camera. It has a slight learning curve to use all the features if you are not familiar with photography. More than satisfied with the quality photos this camera produces

The D500 is super fast (focus and frame speed) and has over-the-top capabilities. As a long-time Nikon user I was apprehensive that it would live up to all the hype... It has surpassed my wildest expectations.

Love this camera so much. It takes beautiful pictures! I use it for sports and family and will eventually use it for portraits. It is super easy to use. I looked at so many cameras, and I am very satisfied I chose the Nikon d-500. You won't be disappointed!

Deeper grip than D200 and D7100, very comfortable. Controls and Menus similar to previous Nikon cameras make learning easy. 440 mbps XQD memory cards very fast, but more expensive than the SD card in second slot. Camera would not power on with aftermarket battery I had, only works with Nikon factory battery. Auto focus has not missed yet on a trip to local Drag Strip and multiple baseball games. Really Great Camera!

With features from professional level cameras, this is a high-end DSLR camera for amateur photographers who demand full features for their photography needs, and may even be a very decent camera for professional photographers

Good build quality, loads of custom set-up actions, love the fast shutter and a great autofocus system make this a worthwhile buy The touchscreen is a fine feature and likely Nikon will increase its capability in future models. Very nice action camera.

Nice camera, but it arrived in a opened broken box with no packing for cushioning. It was bouncing around and could have been broken. But all in all a very good camera.

This is an extremely nice camera. Bluetooth and WiFi...WOW! And the picture quality is great. The cycling speed is fantastic. I was one of the first to enter the DSLR camera market, those first ones were slow and cumbersome...this one is GREAT!

It's an excellent camera, but for the experienced photographer. It's best suited for fast action such as wildlife and sports. It's lightening fast and very quiet as well. It has a joystick for quickly moving the focus point. It does not have a built in flash. My only complaint is that images are very noisy at higher ISOs which is a problem of DX cameras. In spite of that, I love the camera.

Great camera for shooting sports or wildlife. I have also used it for portraits and it performed equally as well. This thing will auto focus in near pitch darkness. I bought it for sports and wildlife but find myself grabbing for it for all my shoots.

I tweaked a few settings per a video by Tony Northrup and the camera is better than when purchased. A bit of a learning curve if all the benefits of the camera are to utilized.
Why would anyone buy a C______N???
