This is a great camera- very user friendly, takes great pictures and I love that it comes with two lenses. Setting up the camera is easy and customizing what you control is easy, too. I find this camera to be easier to use than the Canon (I have both).

Got a great deal at Best buy on the d5600. It's a nice mid ranger camera which is light in weight and great to use. Really happy with the results !

We have enjoyed the camera in all different settings from getting far away shots and up close photos in the vinyard, to dimer room setting. Picture quality is great and the price is right. If your a beginner like myself you really have to study the camera because it has so much to offer.

My wife and I purchased this camera to mainly take pics while backyard birding - it does everything great. Video is flawless and the two lenses work really well. Super easy to use while also having the flexibility to use in manual mode to make unique shots.

I loved learning photography with this camera. It was easy to navigate, the touch screen and Bluetooth connections were perfect! And the starter lens are very versatile, meaning you won’t need to upgrade for a long time unless you’re going to some sort of speciality photography.

We needed to update from our old cameras, and this was a perfect choice. Multiple lenses to cover the varied needs, at the best price around. Looked at buying some used cameras, but the small difference in price was not worth taking a chance on getting something second-hand with possible problems.

I hear this so often these days why would you need a camera you have one on your phone. Even the best phone and I have a Note 20 Ultra doesn't come close to what this higher end entry level camera can do. Great camera, great features makes it fun and easy.

I learned to shoot on Nikons so perhaps I’m partial, but this camera is great. Quality images, user friendly, and Nikon provides many excellent tutorials on how to use the bells and whistles. My only suggestion is to get a different neck strap as the stock ones never hold well for me.

I purchased this camera as a gift for my daughter. This is not an entry level camera: I would call it an "advanced enthusiast" camera but is suitable as first camera. The picture quality of the camera is excellent, but it includes 2 kit lenses to get you started at a minimal cost. My experience with kit lenses is that most people will outgrow them and upgrade them soon. Kit lenses will get you started but better lenses will improve your pictures greatly. You could always buy the camera without the kit lenses and buy better lenses and save yourself some money in the long run. This is a great very capable mid-level camera still using the older mirror viewfinder style of camera.

I’m a beginner and had zero experience with a DSLR before and this camera is great to learn on. I have found using the settings/menu easy. I’ve received a lot of positive feedback on the pictures on social media. And there’s plenty of options for upgrades at a later date.

My wife and I bought two of these bad boys for our photography company. We do senior pictures, family pictures, events and weddings. This camera is a step up from the beginner cameras and low end of professional ones. This camera also shoots amazing video quality. I could go on and on with all the features but please do your own research when purchasing this camera. If you just want a nice camera to take pictures as a hobby you might want to invest in a lower end model rather than this one as this comes with a higher price tag.

After taking vacation photos with just my I Phone for the last few years I decided it was time to get another D-SLR for my travels. I like the light weight of this camera and it’s impressive array of features for shooting stills and video. So far I love it!
