At 24mp with an Expeed 4 processor this Nikon body is just what I was looking for. With DX lenses you can get up to 24" x 36" images without loss of clarity. I had an old D70S that I had used in low light for available light performance photography. I have retired and want to focus on landscape, real estate and architectural photography. With 2 SD slots and a battery grip I can use this for any situation. Full frame was just too expensive. Using the new 10-20 DX zoom with the 18-140 and the DX VR 70-300 that will cover everything. The newer software will take care of distortion in Lightlab or whatever replaces it. The money saved on using DX can be put into lenses and printers.

This camera has the ability to take fantastic photos. Your imagination can take you far with this camera. It has plenty of automatic settings for beginners or intermediates that do not want to have to set anything up manually. On the opposite end, it has all the manual features to allow more experienced photographers the ability to manipulate their photo taking to their liking.

I stepped up from the Nikon D5000 which I used for a few years. The D7200 is bigger, heavier, and sooo much smother. This is quite a step up and I don't think I can take a bad picture with this camera.

As an amateur photographer, I was reluctant to purchase a camera more advanced than my knowledge. Nikon representatives Christina and Katie (Costa Mesa) told me about the Nikon classes and I took the basic class…I am not as intimidated. Christina said it is better to grow into a camera than grow out of one. Thanks Christina...love my new camera!

I am moving up from a Nikon D50, wow this is so much better. Only had it a few days, but I really like it. Super fast and some great pictures.

I have been using Nikon cameras for over 20 years, and recently I decided to upgrade from the D7100 to the D7200. The quality fit and finish of the D7200 is as good as the D7100. The D7200 has extra features such as: built-in Wi-Fi so you can transfer pictures wirelessly to your mobile device, a much larger buffer so you can take multiple pictures back-to-back (this was a weak point of the D7100), and few more menu options. Overall, I am very satisfied with my Nikon D7200. Note, I decided to get the D7200 instead of the D7500 because the D7500 only has one memory slot; while the D7200 has two memory slots.

This camera takes fantastic pictures. I upgraded to this from the Nikon D5100. The learning curve is steeper but well worth it. The auto focus is much better and quicker than the D5100.

Great photos out of the box. Google D7200 for tutorials to learn more about the camera and its settings. Flat picture control is something I'm going to have fun with for a long time!!

I thought that this camera would be too complicated for a beginner when I bought it over 2 years ago. The journey has been a great one. I use my Nikon almost everyday in my film program at community college and it still runs perfectly. The settings are intuitive once you get the hang of it. Compatible with most Nikon lenses, compact form, durable, great quality for the price.

Finally upgraded from my old D3000. Wanted something that shot better at higher ISO’s. Able to get good indoor sport shots with adequate indoor lighting.

I cannot recommend this camera enough. Its the best crop sensor camera out at the moment for Nikon shooters. If you want Something better then step up to a full frame.

the 24MP is just right for what I need to take reference photos for my paintings and at the same time the great resolution of the photos is of exhibit quality. Even with the zoom lens, the weight and size is not too heavy to carry when hiking some challenging terrains. Features are easy to locate and manipulate.

The Nikon D7200 feels great in your hands. The image quality is incredible and, of course, the tools to manipulate the photos as they are shot (exposure adjustments, ISO, aperture, focus, etc) are flexible. The NFC and mobile app have some stability and ease of use issues, so the rating was reduced because this was one 'element' that was highlighted by Nikon.

Purchased based on other reviews and research. This is an excellent camera. If you want high-quality photos (and video) this is a great choice. It has full auto point and shoot for beginners like us, and we had a great time going through the manual and trying out all the features. We still have a way to go but during our vacation we used it constantly. Love it!

My original intent was for theater photos but I find my self using this camera for everything. It is well worth the money for someone who wants quality with out having to spend thousands of dollars.

Our previous Nikon had died on us, getting the D7200 body allowed us to use our lenses. It was a great call, it's an awesome camera. Using it is extremely simple, but digging in to all its options definitely requires an ad hoc book. The photos we've taken in limited light environments are amazing. I can only encourage this product.
