I bought Nikon D7200 DSLR camera at local best buy store based on recommendation of a sales person who also has the same camera. I was greatly surprised with it's fetchers, speed, clearness of the pictures. Really easy to use, and would recommend it to a beginner as well as someone who is using it for professional purpose.

I've owned the D7100 for years now and was looking for an upgrade to a camera that was able to work well in low light. This camera is fantastic and within reason for the hobby photographer and more. I highly recommend the Nikon D7200 for all types of photography without breaking the budget.

I really love this camera and I love all the features. The only thing I don't like is the screen does swivel like on the d5100

Such great features and easy to use! I really like the new wifi capability. I can take a picture on the Nikon D7200 and then put it on my phone right away to share! The D7200 is the first camera Nikon has that doesn't require an adapter to share your photos!

I've been wanting to upgrade from my d90 for a few years. The layout of the d7200 is very similar so it's familiar and has been an easy switch. The d7200 feels great in my hands, produces superior images and was well worth the price. I spent many hours searching online sellers including the big NYC camera/electronics stores. The free Lowepro backpack made my decision easy to choose Best Buy. The backpack holds both camera bodies, three lenses, extra batteries and a tablet easily. If considering a near-pro camera DSLR I highly recommend the d7200.

Love that you can load the camera pictures right to your cellphone by the cameras own wifi. Have great quality pictures you can share with family, friends, and Facebook right a way. Best Buy should offer a class for beginners. I am using the standard settings but I would like to learn the more complex settings.

Excellent body with crop sensor (DX) format. Takes wonderful low-light photos. Has enough manual features to satisfy even the most experienced photographers while providing professional quality pictures on Auto setting. If you are looking for a top-of-the-line enthusiast body, the D7200 certainly fits the profile.

I had a very important family event to attend so I rushed out to buy this camera. I reviewed several Nikon cameras on Best Buy, Amazon and a few other websites. This camera surpassed my expectations, from taking good shots in low light to the ability to change from color to black and white pictures...this camera is awesome. I have received compliments from family and friends on the quality of the pictures that I have taken with this camera.

After considerable research on different camera bodies from Nikon, I finally took the plunge and purchased the Nikon D7200. This camera was an upgrade from a Nikon D3200 that I have use for several years, which I still use as a backup camera. I chose the D7200 over the D7100 because it was Wi-Fi capable in camera and the fact that it was a newer production date. Considered the even newer D500, however at twice the price I elected to go with the D7200. I have yet to regret this purchase and seriously dought that I ever will. The camera takes awesome photos for a crop sensor camera. Until my photography passion takes a turn to the more professional side, I would not be interested in a full frame camera, mostly due to the expense. If you are a serious hobbyist or even if you touch base on the professional side from time to time, (as I do), this camera will do everything you ask of it. The key here is to know your camera, regardless of make or model, and of course practice, practice, practice!!

This is an amazing camera, and I use it daily for work. That said it took me almost 45 min in the store to have someone even bother to come over and 'help' me. In fact it's faster to order it on line and wait for delivery than gamble on if someone will even bother coming to assist me in finding anything at the Marin store. Unless it's something I can physically pick up and walk to the cashier with I won't shop there for it. But yes, great camera.

The D7200 is the camera for the non-professional who is trying to get excellent pictures at a reasonable cost compared to other "professional" cameras at 3-4 times the price. It crams 24 mega pixels into the same area compared to the 12 mega pixels of other Nikon high end cameras of ten years ago. So that accounts for the excellent resolution and image details in the photographs. One would think that since twice the number of pixels are crammed into the same area, the pixel size has to be smaller and hence less light sensitive. BUT, the Nikon image processing technology in this camera allows an ISO selection of up to 25,600 !! For day-to-day pictures the ISO range of 100 - 1600 may be quite sufficient, but seems like, again due to whatever image manipulation feats are performed by the Nikon processor, photographs shot at 2000 - 3200 ISO are still pretty darned good in terms of graininess at high magnification. A hecka good camera.

After 5 years of underutilizing my D7000, I decided to upgrade to a D7200 looking for the high ISO capability and higher resolution. I considered waiting for the D7500 - but glad I didn't! I love this camera, and after watching tutorials on youtube, I'm finally learning how to take advantage of the D7K features. I've been comparing my D7000 side by side, this camera is noticeably more capable at lower light levels, though as I've been spending more time learning the features of the D7200, I'm finding that the D7000 is still a great camera. The D7200 can be had for <$1K and even less refurb, the D7000 and D7100 for even less. If you want to graduate from a consumer to prosumer camera, all three cameras are great value, especially at refurb prices.
