Research and come to your own conclusions as far as needs, wants and budget. There is nothing that I can say that has not already been said...this is a fine piece of art and technology. I made the jump from DX to FX and have had it only for a couple of weeks. My conclusion is that this camera is a monster for its price point. It has fantastic dynamic range and sharpness. Low light performance is great. The D750's features, performance and price are unique in the Nikon FX lineup. Extremely happy with it so far. Pros: Smaller size and less weight when compared to Nikon’s higher end FX bodies. Great low light performance. Images stay clean up to about 6400 ISO in most circumstances. You can see in the dark if you have to. The custom user settings (U1 & U2) are a godsend. It has a titling rear display that can come in handy with odd angles. Price vs performance feature set ratio might be the best in the market. Auto focus is accurate and fast. Cons (Notice that all but one of the issues below have nothing to do with taking a good photo!): AF area is bunched up towards the middle of the sensor and does not reach the outer edges of the frame. Has wireless but you can’t do much with it. The Nikon WMA app is pretty limited. No onboard geotagging. Not a huge issue if you do something off camera like Geotag Photos Pro on a smartphone. I don’t care for the Nikon GPS solution as its a pain to sync and is a battery killer. Video is 1080P at best which means either now or down the road you might want something with 4K capabilities. Shutter is pretty loud regardless of what mode you set it in. The reviews are right, this is a stellar camera.

I have had Nikon 8008, 50, 7001, and now the 750. The flexibility of adjustment for this camera at this price is mind-boggling. The articulating screen is immensely helpful when taking difficult shots from different angles. I like how all the adjustment locations are very similar to the other Nikon cameras of this type. The pictures that I’m getting now with my 70- 200 2.8F lens are amazing. I am extremely satisfied. The purchase price is what made me use Best Buy.

The D 750 Nikon is a great camera. I purchased my first one over a year ago. It's easy to use and takes great pictures. I purchased the second one for my wife for her birthday. She was using the old Nikon D 200 and I felt sorry for her.. She loves her new D 750 and is taking great pictures. I've created a monster. We have lots of Nikon glass but purchased two new lenses the Nikkor 28-300 f/3.5-5.6G ED VR and the Nikkor 24-120 4G VR. If you're starting out I suggest the 28-300 f/3.5-5.6G ED VR it's as close as you'll get to a one lens for everything. There is no one lens for everything but it's close. Don't forget this is a full frame camera. Also shoots great video... Buy one you'll love it.

I use my camera for both personal and professional use. I have shot weddings, family reunions, newborns, and my own kids with this camera. My previous camera was a Nikon D700, which I loved, but it has now moved to my backup camera. The D750 is amazing in low light and I love being able to shoot video as well as stills. Glad I waited so long to upgrade from my also fantastic D700.

This camera is a solid upgrade over the D610 and provides a lot of the utility that the D810 gives you, while only losing resolution. 99% of the photographers of the world would have no need for a 36 mega pixel image (in fact it will probably just eat up your hard drive space twice as fast and be a problem). The focusing is fast, the low light focusing is great, ISO noise is nearly undetectable at f8 or higher up until 7200 or so. Live view is much improved from my old DX camera (D5200), the video capabilities are great (1080 at 60fps!). The controls are smooth, the grip is comfortable and the WiFi lets you use your cell phone as a remote shutter, eliminating the need for some expensive peripheral pieces. I've used the 24-70mm 2.8g and the 85mm 1.8g, as well as the 18-200mm DX and 10-24mm DX lenses. Its sharp with everything, the shutter is quiet and solid feeling. Nikon really hit a home run with this camera. If you are wavering between this and a D610, just do yourself a favor and skip the D610.

This camera is one of the best cameras I have had. I am a fan of Nikon and I will continue to buy Nikon. What I like most about the camera is the clean and crisp images. I also like that the screen of the camera flips out. I wish it was touch screen but I count my blessings. I am a fan!!

It's a FULL FRAME monster in a smaller body. Fantastic low light shooting, 51 point autofocus system from the more expensive D810, can record video at 1920x1080p 60 fps (only 10 minutes at a time, bummer). Dynamic range (color reproduction range) is great for a 24MP FX (full frame) sensor. Camera grip feels great, buttons are easy to get to. I purchased the body only along with the 50mm 1.8G lens. Since then, I've bought the 85mm 1.8G lens, battery grip, 18-35mm 3.5-4.5D lens.

I recently upgraded from D5600 to this full frame camera. learning curve is not bad; a little work, but not overwhelming. I like the 2 card slots for regular camera cards, and the quality of images with good lenses. My SB 800 works with it. I don't think this is being produced any more-the upgrade from this is too complicated for me, and the card slots are different. I love it; as an amateur, it is definitely worth the price.

I have been wanting to upgrade to a full frame camera for some time now. I've been shooting with the popular Nikon D300s for the past 5 or 6 years which is a crop sensor camera. I can truly say that I am in love with this upgrade. The level in which this camera handling low light situations is incredible! Anyone purchasing this camera body will be happy.

Upgrade from a D7200. Don't let the reviews fool you. for people pics and anything non telephoto this outshines the dx by far and is worth the extra cost.

I've had several cameras over the years and so far this camera is my favorite hands down. My lenses are all Nikon so the camera's I've used have been all Nikons so I can't comment on other brands. If you are a enthusiast or even a professional this is an excellent camera. Using cropped sensor cameras before this one l can say definitely there's a difference in sensor size. If you're curious about the spec's and the tech there are several reviews floating on the web and I recommend reading some to get a feel for the camera. All I will say is you won't be disappointed getting this camera.

I upgraded to a Nikon 750 full frame camera. I love the features and the camera is made from very strong and durable parts. Nikon creates beautiful vibrant color in pictures, which is a plus. Will always buy Nikon products and lens. My choice in comparison of other brand DSLR camera names.
