I have owned my Z7 for about 6 months and it did not take long to decide that I could sell my D810 & D500. The Z cameras are both extremely light and compact and they do everything my old cameras did and now they can actually take great video! If you currently have a Nikon camera it will feel very familiar but there is a learning curve and you'll need a little time to get comfortable with quickly changing some of the functions. The electronic viewfinder is amazing. You will no longer pick up your camera and take several quick photos of your kids running and realize you had the camera set for 1/10th of a second shutter speed and your Iso was at 8,000. You'll see what the pictures look like before you take them. Every person who I've seen take the z6 or z7 apart have all said that it's the best weather sealed mirrorless camera they have ever tested. The Z system of cameras are Nikons future. I love what they have done with it and if you travel, the small 24-70 as well as the 14-30 F4 lens I just pre-ordered are very light, sharp and compact. It truly makes these the best Nikon interchangeable lens cameras that you can travel with. They just make taking pictures fun again.

This Camera is small and light weight but packs a big punch. I can carry it all day long taking high quality photos. I was worried about the battery life, but it has exceeded all my expectations. One of the best things about this Camera is that when you want to change a setting it is easy to find and set it to what you are looking to do. Love this Camera.

Really amazing. I've been using a Nikon D7200 for years and have loved the results. I was not sure I really needed a new camera. Aside from stepping up to a full frame camera, the Z7 has a number of features that make it much more user friendly than the Classic D7200. A firmware update has corrected some of the reported problems with autofocus that existed when the Z7 was first released, plus with the adapter I am able to use all of my Nikkor lenses. I love the way it feels in my hands and appreciate not having to deal with the weight of a traditional full frame. Photos are incredibly sharp, and to quote Ken Rockwell, " No digital camera takes better pictures than the Z7"

Bought the camera because of its of its high resolution FX image sensor yet small size and light weight. Plan to use it on vacation trips where a DSLR would be awkward to carry. So far been very pleased with product. Switching from DSLR to EVF was very easy given the similarities to the D850 in live view. Will take this camera on my next trip.

This is my 3rd Nikon and I'm always confident in the quality and durability. The other two are still in great working order -- a film camera and a DSLR. It's a good value because I'm able to use my lenses from my DSLR on the new camera (with the purchase of an adapter). The adapter is sold at a deep-discounted price if you buy it when you buy the camera body.

Durable, great images. Missing some minor features you would expect to have on a camera this expensive. Not the best for studio shots.

Hubs 60th birthday present and he loves it! Takes amazing pics in low light. He also has an 810. He says he can’t compare them because they are ‘good at different things’. So he loves both of them but was really impressed with this one!

Not compatible with cs-5 and few lenses are available to fully utilize this camera...like the potential but until Nikon catches up with lens development adapters and older lenses don't do the camera justice.
