The camera/lens combination is perfectly suited. The mirrorless full frame is fantastic.

I used my brand new Z 7 today and was extremely disappointed by it's performance. Up until today I had only use the camera outside and knew that the autofocus engine was slow, but today I shot inside of a studio with strobe lighting on a relay and it was embarrassing. Nearly a third of the images I shot today were out of focus and attempting to capture a candid image or action shot was impossible. I have an 810 and 850 and am shocked at how horrible this camera performed today. Was it ever tested in a studio setting? I think not. This camera needs to come with a disclaimer stating that it is not a pro camera and is not made for studio situations. As I head into reshoots because of today's mishaps, I will not be using the Z 7 and will most likely be returning it and eating the restocking fee as I shoot a fair amount of studio photography and this just won't cut it.

For the price, I should have been wowed. I was not. Image quality is severely lacking. Dedicated lenses and different memory card. Huge headache. Adapter for F mount lenses is available but images are extremely soft and again, quality is not there.

Several pro reviews were hard on this camera. I weighed everything they were saying and decided to purchase anyway. I am very happy with this camera and already shot some great photos.
