Received a bad card initially but Best Buy was able to get a replacement sent right after reporting the issue. The replacement card has been great so far running all games so far at max settings.

An amazing product, that could only be better if it had wider availability. Processes 1440p with amazing ease. 4k is no issue at all as well. Worth the investment, if you can get your hands on one.

Awesome card at MSRP. Running almost every game at 100fps+ and at 200-400fps with frame gen, which looks great.

I loved this proudct, I had no issues with it at all and it performed perfectly up to its capabilities. I just upgraded to a newer one s I had no need for this, it ran all my games outstandingly well at 4k quality with no setbacks in any ways.

The 50 series is controversial for being bad value, however, if you are able to get a card for MSRP (and more than 8gb of VRAM) and you are upgrading from at least 2 generations prior, the 5080 is a great option. I was using a laptop with a 1650 Ti, and this card has been an amazing upgrade that was long overdue. It also draws much less power than the 5090, so you don't have to constantly worry about the connector melting.

Installed easily and GPU has worked well for me. The price has been worth it specifically at MSRP.

So many issues, crashes, black screens, etc

It has been a very frustrating experience having this card. When it works, it is great. Certain games run really well and look beautiful with this card. However, newer games can be a complete nightmare.
A ton of driver updates and hotfixes have been released and were still having crashes or black screen freezes with games like Black Wukong, Atomfall.
Its also very frustrating to have to disable capabilities so you can get a semi stable experience (turn off DLSS or Ray tracing is the recommendation at times).
It might be better to wait until the driver issues get resolved but if youre used to things working out of the box, you might want to hold off on this card.

Purchased the FE version of this card due to the 2 slot design not covering up my expansion slots.
From my previous 3080 card I have seen considerable improvement in performance and it runs far quieter. Runs all the latest games without any sign of struggle, and uses as little as half the power running older games.

I dont know why reviewers are so negative about this card. I understand it may not have improved much since the last generation but I don’t think you should be upgrading every generation. This is my first graphics card as a new builder and I think nothing competes with this around the $1000 mark.

had drivers issues at first. Got a black screen at first power up. Had a display driver get corrupted and windows crashed. Was able to get Windows to down load and fix the display drivers. Then reinstalled the Graphics card and it worked. This is a new generation of GPU, so driver issues should be expected. After that I have not had any issues. Works great with a 4K monitor.

I was one of the lucky few to order this on release day. I upgraded from a 2080 SUPER to the 5080 and paired it with a 9900x CPU and it has been an amazing upgrade. GPU handles all games at 2k with over 150 fps with no issues.

I was looking for a graphics card that can handle 4k 120 and this one handles it like a charm. I didn't think I'd use frame gen but it is actually an amazing feature.

Great card, not sure it's really worth the upgrade for 4*** series owners, or high 3***
good card, solid fps in 4k with frame gen and dlss 150-180 with 7800x3d
still want to get 5090, hoping for the right stock

Perfect and very noticeable upgrade coming from a RTX 3080 10GB card. Games were buttery smooth even on a 5900X CPU. The hardest part is just getting your hands on one of these 5000 series cards.
