The Nvidia Shield is a great device for streaming and for playing games, works great.

I've had an Apple TV, Nexus Player, Amazon Fire TV, Roku 2, Roku stick and none have compared to this in performance. I was using built in apps on Sony XBR-55X850D 4K TV for a while but at times it would lag. Big difference in performance once i started using Nvidia Shield Pro. One thing i don't like is the gaming controller it comes with but no biggie since I was able to pair a PS4 controller with ease.

This was the perfect streaming device I wanted something stock that would run XMBC. Which this does but I find I used it for everything. The only thing it doesn't support that I wish it did is the Spectrum TV app. I had to buy a Roku for that.

This product is totally amazing, easy to use, fantastic performance, best in class.

So far this has been the best streaming device I've owned. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi for some reason can be spotty. At times cant handle streaming GeForceNow games and I have a nighthawk x6 with 1gbs down internet, while my nvidia tv sits maybe 10 feet from my nighthawk. Hardwired I have no issues at all. Other than that I love it! Recommend!

Nvidia Shield Pro is a GREAT device, but not necessarily the best for streaming TV shows and Movies if you are a cord cutter. It's biggest plus is the 500Gb storage built in, and it comes with not only the plex app but plex server as well. Would I buy this product again? Probably not, but I do not regret purchasing it and I could recommend it to someone depending on what they wanted for a streaming device.

It does all the Android and Kodi stuff great. It is a great Plex server for 2 or 3 streams. It is connected to a Pioneer SC-99 and a Sony 940C and having CEC to use only one remote is great. If you have a large media collection you are better off with the Pro version if you like to have a full Plex install.

Works very well and is very fast, the game controller that comes with the Shield is good. The remote has a rechargeable battery which is great because batteries can get expensive. I have tried several android TV boxes and this is by far the best. I liked it so well that I bought a second one for my bedroom.

It was the perfect upgrade for my video streaming. Sony PlayStation Vue is a dream on this platform.

When you learn to enjoy everything you need out of your entertainment system out of one sleek, snappy box, you will never go back. This should be as standard as having a universal remote for every home.

I've purchased 4 different Android TV boxes so far prior to hearing about the shield TV from tech sites and Internet sources. It is the most stable and fastest box around. Although it's pricey, you get what you pay for. 500 gigs for starters and the fastest streaming around.

Using this as a Plex media server, and it works great! Sips power and transcodes on the fly when necessary.
