    It's a "magnetic-levitation supercar of keyboards.

So, I upgraded my keyboard. I went from the NZXT Function TKL, which I loved—it was like a reliable Honda Civic of keyboards. It got me where I needed to go, never gave me any trouble, and had that comforting, familiar clatter. But then, Best Buy put a new model in front of me: the NZXT Function Elite MiniTKL. This new keyboard is less "Honda Civic" and more "magnetic-levitation supercar that's also a concert hall." It's so quiet and smooth it feels like I'm not typing at all, but instead, my thoughts are being directly translated into a document by some sort of psychic AI. The old one had that satisfying clack of a real mechanical keyboard, while this one has magnetic switches that are so precise you can adjust the actuation point with 40 different settings. That's a lot of settings. I'm pretty sure my last microwave only had three. The build quality is another level. The old one was great, but this one feels like it's carved from a single block of refined sarcasm. It's got a solid aluminum frame and a gasket-mounted design, which apparently does something to make it feel even more premium. Plus, it has an 8,000Hz polling rate, which means it registers my keystrokes so fast that I'm now pretty sure I’m going to lose my next game of Fortnite and I won't even be able to blame the input lag. In short, my old keyboard was great, but this one is a whole new dimension. I may not be able to type faster, but I will be able to do it with a newfound sense of superiority and a typing experience so premium I might start charging for it. The only thing that would make this product even better is a magnetic cell phone stand and additional attachments to accommodate other handhelds, like my Steam Deck. Because let's be honest, who doesn't want to play on their Steam Deck while getting in some premium typing?
