Great product. It took a few trys getting used to it. It cooks very fast 2 minutes tops. You need to keep turning the pizza every 20 to 30 seconds. That is my best advice. But I love this thing.

Great for taking on the road! We used it when we went camping. Was a hit! It does take some practice to get good at the technique of getting the pizza off the peel. I got a propane adapter that allowed me to use small propane cylinders... perfect for camping. Highly recommend!

This is the best invention since the microwave! I highly recommend it! No more ordering out. Cooks the pizza under 2 minutes. I recommend going on the manufacture and ordering the products. They have pre-made pizza dough to tomato sauce.

This thing makes great pizzas! It definitely does have a bit of a learning curve at first so I do highly recommend making smaller pizzas to begin with because you will burn the first one. Count on that! But when you get better you’ll end up with the best pizzas ever!

Great for my tailgate!!! Had to get the stone hot to get the dough to cook through or get the dough warmer so I could get it thinner. Regardless, this is an awesome addition to my backyard and tailgates.

Truly has been the most horrible experience with this pizza oven. I was so excited and hopeful and I’m actually a good cook. Every pizza has turned out either burned or undercooked and doughy- truly not edible. I wish it had been different

Hi there, I'm terribly sorry for the lousy experience you've had with the results of cooking with your Koda so far. I myself have had most of these issues at one time or another when I was starting out, and fortunately, they can be overcome with a little help. This mostly has to do with the temperature of the stone and flame maintenance. I always aim for about 750 ºF in the center of the stone before launching, and then turn the flames to low (or off) to let the base cook thoroughly without overdoing the top. Then on the final rotation, return to high temp to get the toppings nice and melted. I absolutely love my Ooni pizza oven! It's very easy to use and produces amazing results with just a little practice. One tip: make sure the stone is properly heated—waiting at least 10 minutes between pizzas helps maintain the right temperature. I followed the dough recipe recommended by Ooni, and it worked great. I also found that regular mozzarella cheese gave better results than fresh soft mozzarella, which tended to make the dough soggy. Overall, it's a fantastic oven that delivers delicious, restaurant-quality pizza at home.

We have been using our range with pizza stone to bake pizzas but the fact that it can only go up to 550 wasn't enough in most cases. We were just not able to get that Italian thin pizza crust. This is a very good alternative to having a dedicated pizza stone in your yard, but it does have a learning curve so if you get it make sure to watch some videos or be ready to burn/undercook first batch of pizzas. The oven gets very hot as intended and requires careful managing of the heat while cooking, moving the pizza frequently, turning down the flame but you get that authentic pizza feeling at the end so it is worth it.

So far so good...we had a few burnt edges on the first pizza, but once we got the hang of turning it, they came out great. Far superior crust to what you can achieve with a pizza stone in a standard oven. Very quick set up and easy to use Each pizza takes just minutes to cook. Looking forward to mastering our techniques.
