Great pirchase. I bought two of these on sale at $120 and honestly they are worth the price when not on sale. My daughter and i truly are enjoying playing Rockband 4. I am loving being able to show her games i played when i was a young adult and just having fun with her. I highly recommend this if you are into Rockband.

It feels alright. Seems to work well when I get it working. But I bought it to use on PC not on Xbox. And, on top of that, lost the dongle to it in the first week because I had no idea you could store it in the guitar so it's been a giant paperweight ever since.

Its been at least a decade since I last picked up a plastic guitar. In that time, I had a daughter, gave her an appreciation of what is now considered classic rock, and taught her to read via karaoke. To fine tune her pitch, I went and bought Rock Band 4 strictly for the singing, since buying a used guitar controller that worked on the newest systems was like hunting for treasure. When PDP hinted at the upcoming guitar controller, I knew I had to get two. Now my wife, daughter and I are akl jamming out to the hubdreds of songs I have collected over the years. The riffmaster fits my hands like an old friend. Everything feels great, the strum bar isn't too mushy, the fret buttons push down nicely, its not too clicky. Now PDP needs to come out with a drum set and Harmonix needs to cone out with some sort of sweetheart deal to unlock RB3 exports (I missed the window when it happened forever ago) and all my rocking dreams will come true

Please make sure you are aware that this is NOT compatible with Guitar Hero games. But if you are looking to play Rock Band and your original guitar is no longer working then this is for you. Finding a Rock Band guitar in the market is very expensive, over $100 and then you have to worry about if the buttons are working or not. The build quality of this is really good. The good, or the bad thing about this guitar is the strum bar and that all comes down to preference. If you like the old guitars where you hear the clicking of the stum bar, then you may not like this one. The stum bar on this is silent. I use headphones when I play so I could care less but I do know of people who like that clicking sound when playing.

I got this for my boyfriend for christmas. he emulated guitar hero on his PC. Hes so invested he wont even let me have a turn.

I grew up playing Rock Band on Xbox and the Wii. I bought two of these so my girlfriend and I had a video game we could play together, and we both love these controllers! They work just like the original Rock Band Guitars, and they even fold in half backwards which is convenient for storage. They also come with guitar straps which is great!

Buttons on top are a little big and the notch in the yellow buttion isnt as profound if it should be.

My son wanted this for Christmas, he's very happy with it!

This guitar feels good in your hands, a nice size, and the buttons are sturdy enough for many hours of shredding. There are no complaints for this controller. It works on PC and newer Xboxes. It does not work for Xbox 360 Rock Band 2 sadly which is what I hoped for when I bought it. That's not their fault though, it never claimed to on the box.

As described by the manufacturer, it does work "plug-and-play" on Windows. Just know that programs such as Phase Shift do not support newer controller tech such as this.

I find the guitar pretty good, no issues for me. Played Clone Hero and Fortnite Festival and yea its pretty fun playing with the guitar instead of a keyboard, so I would say its an awesome item to add to your collection in your room.

Very good guitar controller very easy to use solid build

I will say. I have a few old guitar hero guitars from the past along with rockband guitars. I like the build, it is solid, all buttons are nicely placed. The analogue stick on its own is a nice addition. I have the PS strat, Les Paul, the Xbox wired xplorer, which are all honestly phenomenal (clicky strum). But to have a no latency wireless guitar with great battery life, I think this is a perfect substitute if you don’t want an OLD USED piece of equipment. Easy setup for clone hero as well!
