This is a great addition to my Phillips light strip. We have them under our kitchen cabinets, and this extension is the right length for doing a standard corner cabinet unit. Blends in perfectly with the rest of our lights. Great Phillips Hue quality and ambiance! We ordered some extension ribbon so that we could place this under the cabinet where we already had the main light strip on the top. The extension we purchased on EBay for just a few bucks. As is typical with the Hue Light Strips, we needed to use our own double sided tape to help secure this. Just a fed inches here and there. The glue these come with is not very reliable, but the lights themselves are very nice.

The product works and the app is very intuitive and packed with features. The issue with this product is that they isn’t a way to do 90 degree turns when back lighting a tv. You have to bend the light strip around and it doesn’t lay flat. I ordered this replacement for a section because one section had a break in the connection from bending it. The bend was a gentle radius, but it still developed a short. This product is also very expensive for what you get.

Absolutely love these for under counter lighting in the kitchen. My favorite use for them is syncing to music along with my other hue lights during a party. The "wow factor" to guests when half of my house starts changing color to music is so much fun to watch.

Hue products are one of the best quality products in smart home products. Though they are pricey but integrates and works well with available smart home products. I have used this to extend my existing light strip and it worked as expected. No complaints.

solid strip extender you can pair with the main kit. pricy but this seems to be the only choice.

I returned this item because it did not come with corner adapter. Making little loops to make a corner is hard. The sticker does not want to hold unless it is flat. The lights never got connected or used but I already have these lights and the strips are good but way over priced.

I needed to expand the lights around my tv and the attached great to the existing light strip. Colors are amazing.

In the image for the product a white connector is displayed, however it is not included in the package. Not sure if it was suppose to be included or not. If not then it should be removed from the image. Over all the extension works as expected.

Don't use outdoors, but great for inside. You can alter the length of these, but check for the cutting point.

The worst Hue product by far. Removing the paper from the adhesive backing is a pain. So much that the paper and the adhesive come off together from the lightning strip, which makes the strip unusable. Trying to put back the adhesive on the strip is just maddening. I ended up returning this and the starting kit I bought with it, and then purchased a Lifx strip. Much better quality, experience, ease of installation. I was trying to grow my Hue environment but this strip is just complete garbage,

Great for ambient lighting in any room. It’s really bright and has a wide range of colors.

The colors are amazing behind the the tv. Works with hue sync box!

Phillips makes the best automated lighting and we love this light strip.

If you have a philips hue lightstrip you have to get this.

The best led light, many colors and easy to use !!

It is bright and vibrant. Only issue I had was the 3M tape wasn't that great. A few of the 3M strips came off of the LightStrip all together. Also, I didn't receive the extension piece shown in the picture.

I bought the 80 inch hue lightstrips but i needed a bit more lighting for my room. the Hue white and color ambiance 40 inch lightstrip was the perfect addition to my lightstrips! Philips makes the best quality lighting.

Great light strip to integrate to existing smart light setup. Please note that this doesn't come with a power adapter; it's simply a strip extension and you'll need to buy the power supply separately.
