Good but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an Apple SuperDrive and it's better than this unit but this one has blu-Ray read and write capabilities. It's kind of slow burning discs and it does require two USB ports which I knew about but the cord is so short that I had to buy a 4 port usb hub in order to use it with my MacBook. It works well, but is definitely more noisy than the SuperDrive. Overall not a bad alternative to Apple's drive.

Simple and works

It does. Plug it in and everything seems to be fine. I had to download MPlayerX, but that's Apple's fault not the hardware.
