Does the job

Fortunately I don't need to use the drive very often. Disappointed that it does not include an AC adapter and because of this needs to take up 2 USB ports for enough juice to work. That said there is a port to power it by AC so I guess I'll I'll spend the extra $ and pick one up. Gave it 3 stars since it hasn't failed, just expected a bit more for the money.

Granted I have not tested the longevity but with $10 that I spent on the 2 year replacement warranty, it's the best option available.

The USB ports (2) are not on one side of the MacBook. I had to return it. But it appears to be a good item if your USB's line up.
