this ssd is fast and comes with some cool bundled items, an adapter to make the ssd 9mm thick and some software to migrate your windows. over all im very happy with it. i have only used it for under a month but so far no issues.

Its so good I had to go back and buy a 2nd one. lol Trully I went back and got a 2nd one, Greatly improved my boot time speeds of the system as well as game loading time. Surely a good drive for the cheaper price over other SSD's.

I caught this SSD while it was on sale and I'm glad I did. I got home and installed it with no issues in a really, really, old laptop that was running Windows XP. The laptop was upgraded to Windows 10 and the SSD. It ran okay, but I blame that on the memory. It only had 2gb of memory. I rated the drive at a 4 star because I doubt that its performance is on par with Samsung SSD's due to the price point.

Old mechanical drive died, so I replaced it with this new one and have been very satisfied with the vastly improved speed, lower system temperature, and quiet operation. In fact, I liked it so much I bought a second one.

Works like it should. No complaints. I really like it.

Perfect SSD for a laptop that does not need to have a generous storage capacity. Easy to install, comes with a spacer. Migration software is included, though i would highly recommend rebuilding software so everything is "New".

I purchased this on sale, formatted, installed software, put it in the laptop and it is up and running. Faster boot, applications start faster, and it runs cooler and quieter than ever. I highly recommend getting a SSD.

Brought my MacBook Pro to the Geek squad for diagnosis & potential repairs because it no longer booted. After several attempts by the Geek squad to emulate my problem [the pc was following Murphy's law], they concluded my hard drive was faulty or was going to fail shortly & recommended installation of a new, solid state drive to correct the booting problem. Such was not to be the case: after using the computer [at home] for a short time, the screen locked-up [froze] again & the computer would not boot after being shut down. This problem manifested itself at the store for the Geek squad who kept it for a few more days & then told me it was fixed [again]. Needless to say, it failed again for me [at home] & I returned it once more to the Geek squad. It was after the third attempt by the Geek squad to fix my MacBook Pro with the newly installed Sata III solid state drive, that they told me they were unable to continue on with repairs. While the problems with my pc might not have been totally related to either the old or the newly installed hard drive, it was clear the Geek squad had let me down with their attempt to fix my machine.....

Got this when it was on sale. Going from a traditional harddrive to a solid state is a dramatic difference. There are faster SSDs out there, but for an average computer user I don't think you would notice much of a difference.

Is fast and reliable and does the job it was intended for. Much better than any HD

I replaced mechanical drive on my Lenovo T440p with this SSD and have experienced tremendous performance improvement. Reboots quickly and much more stable. I got the kit to clone my hard drive and simply swapped them out.

Used the Acronis software and in a hour I was using new drive. Even though old system that originally came with Vista and was slowly upgraded to Windows 10, there is a noticeable improvement over my 10 year old hard drive

Upgraded HD in my Toshiba laptop and boot time with Windows 8 is now about 10 seconds from power on to Windows loading startup items. Definitely worth the money. Using my old HD as second storage for documents, etc.

What can I say? A great, name brand, 240GB SSD on sale during the Xmas holidays. Impossible to pass up. I purchased it and have no regrets. I works well in my old laptop. Almost like a "new" machine!

Got this over Christmas and it has been going strong ever since. You couldn't beat the price now that Best Buy tends to have NewEgg pricing on a lot of its electronics. Boot time is fast! Games load so quick!

Solid state drives are great and particularly this one. I've upgraded my MacBook Pro with this drive and when I thought my computer was good before.... this made it better!! I highly recommend this hard drive!

Great drive for the money. Perfect to add new life to older laptop models

I brought this SSD drive to replace my old hard drive and I put my hard drive where my optical drive once was. Before, it used to take almost a minute for my MacBook Pro to turn on, now it turns on in seconds!

For the price you can't go wrong. I bought two of these and they both worked great. It's nice to add one of these so that you don't have to wait long for your computer to turn on... fires up right away every time.
