Transformed Budget Laptop to Premium Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I increased the RAM on my laptop from 4 to 16GB using 2 of these. They were fast and easy to install and now my budget laptop operates like a premium laptop. No issues. Plugged them in and turned it on. These really are an economical way to get the most out of your laptop.

works good, good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Windoze 10 computer came with 4 G memory and was slow when using 2 monitors and multi-tasking. Swapped out memory card to this 8 G and computer runs considerably faster. Wanted 16 G but they were sold out and didn't know if/when more were coming. Price was considerably less than competitors. Installed surprisingly easily in a 'small' computer (not a traditional tower with lots of room. Total installation time (from disconnect computer, open it up, replace card, set computer back up again and get running) was about 30 minutes.

Solid, cost-effective option to upgrade RAM
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great cost-effective upgrade for a laptop low on RAM. Extremely easy to install (like all RAM, not just this one in particular) and if you're not sure then there are hundreds of videos on YouTube that'll show you how. I personally bought two for my wife's Asus laptop that came with only 8GB of RAM and it's a night-and-day difference.

Easy Peasy Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So easy that this old great grandad can install it. My old 4GB laptop got a new lease on life by installing this 8GB module. Just removed 4 screws on the bottom panel and snapped this in the open slot. Runs better than new with 12GB of RAM.

Great Inexpensive Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to install. Works great. Easily more than doubled the speed of the computer even though I only upgraded from 4gb to 8gb of RAM. Definitely would buy this brand again if I need more laptop RAM

Upgraded my laptop for a great price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, this worked out great because I currently am "returned to college adult," going for my IT certification and for my A+ class, we learned how to upgrade and rebuild computers recently. Because my laptop(just purchased at Best Buy last month) only came with 4GB out of the box, I wanted to upgrade its' performance, thus the 8GB stick purchase. With that said, I was somewhat intimated to open a brand new laptop, because in class, we had only worked on desktops. With some careful steps, I was able to add this memory with no issues at all or Geek Squad assistance. Once installed, I verified that it was done correctly via the System information/BIOS and it indeed showed the increase from 4GB to 12GB. Can't beat upgrading your laptop for only $40+

Great way to expand
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good chip if your looking to expand RAM not hard drive. Need to be sure your laptop will match specs and has unused extra slot. Haven’t installed yet but should work as expected

Yayyy
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to upgrade the memory so my Sims 4 game would stop lagging since onboard graphics was using the 4gb I already had. I feel this was a great buy for me. My laptop is faster and the game looks amazing. I’m using it with all settings high and there is no lagging. I was a bit worried about the brand but I wasn’t going to spend so much money at that moment for memory.

Ram is ram
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ram have a high reliability rep, so nothing to it. If you are decidinf if you need an upgrade, windows 10 with a few chrome tabs sits at about 5-6GB easy, so 8GB these days looks minimum. Also consider a integrated card that would take some of that RAM as well. 16GB is the safer bet and provides some longevity. Ram specs wise: just make sure you are getting the max supported (speeds) on your device, this is quite useful to get the best performance; especially in the case on integrated GPU's. Also dual channel is a good ideal when possible, could eke out a few extra % of performance, I understand a lot of AMD setups really thrive on this. Also if you can get a pair from the same batch, usually via those pair deals it's apparently the best choice, however if all specs of the new ram match the others, you should be all good. Of course brand, frequency, timings or voltage etc matching would be your best best, but even when they don't match; thing should be fine but you would run at the slowest ram specs. Installing them on most laptops is pretty straight forward but you might needs a few tools (special screwdriver kit) to not end up damaging screw threads and other bits on your laptop. Google your device and most videos out there show what's needed. Just make sure your ram is not soldered, than there is nothing you could do, some laptops do leave one spare slot with one soldered combo though.
