I don't get the whole point in the game, but my son loves it. There are different worlds that can be explored and you can create/add different objects to the world you are in (lava, dynamite, other buildings, hills, etc. it's endless). There are skins that can be added and bought to go on your character (dc, marvel, all holidays, various cartoons, etc.). From what my son has told me, there is a free roam version and story mode. He likes that it's good with creativity and imagination.

Every gamer out there should play this game at some point. Not only is there an endless amount of game play, but it allows you to be creative the way you want to be. There aren't too many games that toss you into a world and let you do want you want at a pace that's right for you. I was skeptical about it at first because I sometimes judge games based on their visuals (we've all done it), but after I began playing it I couldn't put the controller down. So if you're looking for a new game pick this one up!

I bought this for my 15 year old son. He had MC for the PC and enjoyed it for a while but he and his buddies play this on Xbox 1 S now with controllers. . They play multiplayer non stop , maybe not such a good thing. But if your kids liked minecraft they are going to love this edition.

Good game for people who like to build things. Would recommend for young teens

My son loves this game and it was one of the best collections I could find. However, I really wish there was some sort of complete edition... So of the "included" add-ons still require you to buy another add-on to unlock the full features (i.e. saves and mini-games).

Being my second time purchasing this game, this time for the Xb1, Minecraft has always been a fun game to play. I also have it on the PC, but this way I can play with friends on Xbox live. Let your creativity flow!

Considering how much this game has to offer, it is priced fairly. I have over 24 hours of play already and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what the game has to offer.

My 10 year old daughter loves playing minecraft. She plays on PC, iPad and now console. She has a friend who also likes Minecraft and they play together on the xbox regularly.

My twin 6 year old boys love this game and are able to navigate and play the game very well! Great entertainment

I don't think I need to get into detail how much fun minecraft is, there are a lot of reviews and videos about that. This version of it for the xbox is a quality port that runs great. If you're coming from the PC version, it takes some adjusting to get used to the controls. Having the ability to have the split multiplayer is a lot of fun for my kids.

My daughter and I play this game all of the time. She loves it and I’m glad it was available when I went to purchase it

My children begged for this game so I finally gave in and it keeps them entertained for hours.

My kids absolutely dig this game (pun intended), and they love the extra skins included in the Favorites Pack. I enjoy watching them get creative. The possibilities are seemingly endless. Personally, I prefer playing Survival. Regardless, it's definitely fun for all ages.

Found out from a game designer that this is one of the best games for children. Even though it's for 10yr old my 5yr old has no problem playing. He likes to build houses
