The game is just as fun as the old ones with a new twist. It was plenty difficult when set to harder difficulties to have a fun time .

This game is sadly underappreciated. I've only heard terrible things from "hard-core" fans, but for someone who has been playing Ratchet & Clank since its initial release in 2002, I have to say they are wearing nostalgia goggles. You have no reason to allow the alterations to the plot, such as the inclusion of the villain or the absence of the enormous clank, mar the whole experience. For those who are disturbed by this alteration in the big picture, it is a tie-in to a movie so they had to make some compromises. The pacing is also excellent (unlike the original release or even A Crack in Time), which presumably has something to do with some planets being completely removed. Overall, it's a fantastic game with stunning graphics, engaging action, and endearing characters. It is superior to the 2002 debut release.

Ratchet and Clank series has come a long way. I remember playing it on my PS2 back in the day. This game has mind-blowing graphics and haptic feedback, On top of that, the story doesn't disappoint. Insomniac did a phenomenal job with it. You can really get lost in the world they have built for us, Can't wait for the next title.

Most PS5 games feel like they've been held back by being developed with the PS4 in mind, but this one is the first I've played besides Astro's Playroom that truly feels like a next gen game. It also has liquid smooth gameplay that feels like a further refinement over previous games in the series.
