I got this to match my other razer quartz products. Iv never owned a wired mouse before. Iv always has wireless ones. So having a wired mouse, you can definitely feel how much lighter it is. Since it doesn’t hold batteries. There’s two things I don’t like about it. 1. The gray rubber on the left hand side of it, started to peel up. So I had to smash it down on the mouse again. It’s held in place with some sort of sticky residue. 2. In the synapse program you can remap the buttons. But they have have button 4 and 5 to remap. They should of made the swappable silver piece button 6. But you can’t really change that one to anything. I play a lot of video games. And trying to program that as a hot button for me while I game made it super difficult! I literally had to disable button 5 and made the silver piece button 5. I just don’t think they gave enough custom options for the mouse.

If youre a girl or a guy lol who loves the color pink. This is the prettiest mouse I ever owned! The feel & sensation of using this mouse is remarkable. Considering I haave small hands, at first It felt big but later on I just felt comfortable and my hand never gets worn out after a prolonged time in gaming!
I recommend to any gamer who wants to have this lovely pink mouse to complete you rose quarts set up or having a premium feel.

I love this mouse with my whole heart! So so cute and it works wonderfully! I love the chroma effect and it matches my razer headphones :) I’m definitely not one to be reviewing for people to look at for advice, but i love this mouse and it was on sale when i got it, and my intentions were to use it for gaming and it 100% works for that exact use.

This mouse is very nice and feels premium to most mice. For non technical ppl out there this mouse weight and feel is about the medium level. It’s not a super light. And not a super clunky big heavy mouse that takes effort. Also the rubber gummy thumb rest feels very soft and premium. Other gaming mouse uses cheap hard feeling rubbers w bad texture

I purchased this black version of the pink mouse I bought from Razer earlier to match my two gaming keyboard and mice with headphones set. After having owned Razer products for a few years I can say they are a top of the line product, easy to program, fun to use. They are durable as well as eye catching. I'm an avid PC gamer as well as a writer so my mouse and keyboard get used more than normal and I've never had any issues out of them. I've had the Razer Chroma Black widow ultimate Keyboard for three years now and it's still out lasted any other gaming keyboard I've purchased. By far Razer provides the whole package in their products and I would recommend this as well as others to anyone interested in quality, as well as design. I am naturally left handed and this mouse is easy for me to use with my right hand.

Okay so this mouse was a lot bigger than the one I usually use. It also doesn’t help that I am small and my hands are like a doll’s. However! This is probably the best darn mouse I have ever used! It’s really pretty and works like a charm! You can adjust the grip of the mouse and even bring up your profile with it! Along with being able to sync it with your synapse so it glows the color you want it to! I highly recommend this product to your dedicated gamer!

I've never been a fan of Razer products, for several reasons. However I am building a gaming rig for my girlfriend who is newer to PC gaming. So I took her to Best Buy and let her try out all the demo model mice on display. Out of several brands & types, she chose this Razer mouse. I tried it and had to admit, it felt great in my hand compared to the competition, including the new line of my beloved Logitech G's. So we bought it and took it home. I wasn't thrilled about it, until I sat down with it...
I've been using the mouse a week, and I'm in love! I have joint pain in my hands, and my Logitech G causes me discomfort quickly. This Razer basilisk feels good for hours longer, much more comfortable to use. The clutch button with interchangeable pedals is a nice touch. I don't mind only having 2 thumb buttons. I never use all 4 on my Logitech mouse anyway.
So there, a Razer hater turned to a Razer customer. I'll be buying another one of these mice for myself soon. I only knock off one star because of the Razer software required. It's bloated with a clunky GUI.

Initial impression is quite positive. I’m coming from a Logitech G 903. This mouse, the basilisk ultimate, is a satisfying weight. Lighter than Logitech offerings. Performance is great, smooth and reliable. Love the paddle. Very comfy mouse to use. An upgrade in every way over the G903.
Battery life is as advertised. Fantastic. For all that it offers and how it performs, this is great to get 100 hours. The dock is also surprisingly great plugged into my usb outlet. Let’s me charge the mouse whenever I’m away from my computer even if computer is powered off. Has a sticky/squishy rubberized bottom. Works great on my aluminum and glass surfaces to really keep the dock in one place. Not sure if it could stain wood and doubt it works well on any fabrics or irregular surfaces requires some effort to lift or move it once I stick it down good.
I think this will be my favorite mouse for a while.
The only ‘con’ is the price, which I feel really should be adjusted to $150 or below. Sort feel like I’m being charged extra over competition because they’ve really outclassed anything that used to sit in the price bracket. I don’t think I’m a fan of prices of a computer mouse creeping up to nearly $200 USD with taxes.... you can buy very cheap computers or even mediocre graphics cards and stuff for the price of this mouse. Anyways, disposable income clearly a requirement that limits who might be interested in the mouse.

This mouse is very responsive, fits my hand well, and has an impressive click. I like that you can adjust the scroll wheel from smooth to very resistant. (I prefer semi-smooth) The thumb rest is super comfortable. The glide is nice too. I am not using it for gaming so I was able to put in a smooth, flat piece for the dpi clutch button. It's got a forward and back button which is easy to use, but not too easy that you accidentally keep tapping it. It's on the light side--all plastic. The last feature has nothing to do with performance, but I just love the changing colors. You can customize many things for this mouse including the colors, but I didn't. I'm completely satisfied.

I’ve had this mouse for about 8 months, and it’s still working well and holding up.
PROS +
+ Razer App is relatively easy to use, adjustable DPI and lighting
+ Responsive
+ Quick convenient sniper button
+ Extra buttons on the sides and top are useful
+ Great for smaller hands, easy and comfortable to hold (compared to Deathadder, no carpal tunnel for me with the Basilisk)
CONS -
- None? I’m not too picky with mice. It works exactly how I imagined and want it to.

I purchased this mouse because I was having problems with my older one which now turns out to be a different problem rather than the mouse. I really like the feel and the colored lighting. The only issue is that I have larger hands and in the heat of serious gaming one of the two right thumb buttons keeps getting pressed which causes unintended results. But that will be corrected by disabling the button. Other than that it's a great mouse for gaming.

This mouse is amazing. It fits the contour of my hand perfectly. I tried to like the Deathadder because that mouse is so popular amongst professional e-sports gamers, but I had trouble lifting it off the mousepad frequently due to the way it sort of slopes outwards and doesn't provide a good grip surface for people who use a claw grip (or who have sweaty hands).
The Basilisk, however, has the nice large footprint of the Deathadder (not the same size, but wider than most normal gaming mice) but with the benefit of beautifully crafted grips and curves that make it much easier to pick the mouse up when playing games that favor lower DPI such as CS:GO.
The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that the grip on the thumb side starts to peel away from the mouse after a very short time (a month or two of using it for a couple hours a day). This wasn't a one-off. I actually purchased two of these (the second one was the white edition) and it happened exactly the same on both. My wife uses the white one and she is very gentle with electronics, so I know this wasn't the result of rough use or abuse.
Although I haven't gotten around to it, I imagine a dab of super glue might fix it. Still, I have never had that issue with any of the other mice I've owned, and I've owned dozens of mice in the past decades.
