I purchased this laptop to use for both gaming and video/photo editing. I really wanted a powerful CPU and GPU and this laptop has not disappointed. The Core i7 10750H is an absolute beast, working through projects in no time. The combination of Core i7 and the RTX 2060 has allowed me to play some of my favorite games at high settings with no limitation.
On Jedi Fallen Order I'm getting between 60 and 100 FPS. I haven't played CoD or Far Cry yet but based on what I've seen with Fallen Order I know I won't have any issues.
The build quality of the laptop is excellent. Yes, you can buy similar specs for cheaper but not with the build quality. I'm very happy with how slick and stylish the laptop is. Knowing that I'd be needing more that 512GB of storage I added a 1TB SSD in the open m.2 slot. Making that addition was a breeze and now I can load big video files on the extra SSD.
The fan noise is reasonable and not distracting when gaming. You can feel the heat when gaming right above the keyboard next to the display. It's hot but not going to burn you. Similar to what you feel on other gaming laptops.
I highly recommend the laptop to anyone who is looking for a thin and stylish laptop that can handle about anything you can throw at it. You can definitely use this laptop in a professional setting without screaming "gamer".

For the most part this laptop is great and does what it is supposed to but to call this a "laptop" would be an overstatement.
Pros
- Runs anything from COD Modern Warefare to Overwatch well.
- 144 Hz display that looks beautiful
- Backlit keys that change depending on what game you play is a nice touch
- Powerful AF
- Feels very well made and has a cool aesthetic
Cons
- Battery lasts maybe an hour playing hearthstone on battery saver mode.
Overall it is a great computer for gaming but i doubt it would last long on battery power unless it was plugged in so its useless on trips or anything.

Researched multiple gaming computers before deciding on this one. Highly recommend! Games look awesome and graphics are well displayed. One of the selling points was the outside structure. Some computers have more flex in the outside shell; something you don’t want if you plan on taking your computer on the go. This one is solid. System is perfect for gaming. Easy to use. Primarily use it for gaming but perfect for school as well. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It has all the features a gamer needs without paying for the overpriced high end brands. This one works just as well. Glad I purchased it!

I was hesitant to purchase this laptop since I've never owned a Razer before and there were few reviews. In the end it was a great choice. You can customize the fan speed which is always a plus as this does heat up quickly. I definitely recommend a cooling pad. Has enough memory, but is upgradable as it has two slots. It's sort of lacking in space if you play a lot of games, but upgrading is easy enough. There are also two slots. The design is sleek. It has a single zone RGB keyboard. Sadly fingerprints stick, but clean off easily. It's a bit to get used to if you're used to having a numpad on your keyboard. Overall I don't regret my choice!

Audio / Multimedia & Gaming

I did a bunch of research for different options for a laptop that could handle Professional Audio, Multimedia as well as gaming, and normal college stuff.
Compared it to other "ROG" laptops and while yes you can get better specs and price on other laptops, the built quality on this Razer is SUPERB, while other laptops crank the specs but cheap out on the materials.
So for me it came down to Durability & Specs, which is why I chose this laptop ultimately.
Bought it on sale, definitely worth it if you can get it under $1300.
I had previously purchased a Razer blade stealth 13" and the graphics card on it while it was pretty impressive for the size of the device itself. Ended up exchanging the 13" for this 15", take into account both of these were on sale and I ended up paying a difference of $49 for the 15" and returning the 13", upgrading from a 1660ti to a RTX 2060, a larger screen and more i/o.
Definitely worth it,
I'm able to do all my Pro Audio no problem all the peripherals (i/o) are there , gaming (Runs cyberpunk very decently RTX on RayTracing @ 1440, on external monitor average fps 40-70) , and the webcam is decent could be better and take advantage of the GPU but does the job.
great laptop for the money, solid built, if you game on it (It will be insanely hot and potentially loud) but unless your gaming on your lap and not using headphones, this shouldn't be an issue.
One thing to note, upgrade ALL the drivers. Specifically drivers from Razer, Intel, Nvidia, Samsung (the sdd), BIOS, other random Windows updates. This significantly will improve performance. Specially if you're getting this to run Cyberpunk and other next gen games.

+great aesthetics/slick finish
+beautiful display
+nice keyboard
+decent speakers for gaming laptop
+not my thing but the RGB lighting is the best amongst all gaming laptops
+battery life is better than what I thought I would get. I leave it plugged in when gaming so I can't gauge that part, but I can get several hours with just casual use (internet, emails)
+if you download Razer Cortex (free download) the computer can be quite powerful easily hitting in 140s FPS but you just have to watch temps which can get hot using the booster.
-can run hot (usually temp is fine, but depends on game); do not actually use on your lap unless you want to sizzle your bits
-smudging requires constant cleaning, but it does look great in the end
-price point is a little higher compared to similar laptops of similar power (more expensive than ASUS, ACER, HP for example). still cheaper than alienware, MSI (depending) and gigabyte. So it hits somewhere in middle. The advanced model is expensive though so this is a good alternative without too much sacrifice (mostly on thermals and battery) and saves $700 (which frees up some money to put towards warranty and accessories like a cooling pad)
So far very happy. As long as it at least makes the 3 years of my warranty (but hopefully more) I will be happy.

PROS: Top-notch build. Really feels super solid without any flex. All metal unibody laptop. Track pad is awesome. Screen is feels large due to its small bezels. Hardware inside performs well.
CONS: Keyboard is feel a little awkward, but that's a preference. System runs pretty hot. If you can overlook the price, then you won't be disappointed.

I'm your average non-gamer gal who was looking for an attractive, sleek computer that also performs well enough to play games like Minecraft and the Sims 4 at high quality. This laptop is the sweet spot between sleek appearance and gamer performance. The only real giveaway that it's a "gamer" computer is the logo, which is fine by me.
It plays my games flawlessly with zero issues. I don't know anything about the benchmarks, but I can say that the quality is beautiful and exceeds my expectations. This computer is probably WAY overbuilt for what I bought it for, but I would rather have something too beefy than not beefy enough.
It can heat up quite a bit if you're gaming with it on your lap, but that could easily be remedied with one of those lap-sized cooling docks. If you mostly play games sitting at a desk/table, it'll be just fine.

I would give it a 10 star if possible. I've gamed on multiple laptops as well as gaming PC's and I must say this is ideal for multiple reasons. You can expand the ram and change the storage which is what I did. I upgraded to 32gb of ram and 2tb of m.2 storage. Usability, It's light portable and a gaming MONSTER! If it's worth every penny spent !

Got more than I expected! Lots of power though runs a bit hot when in gaming, but that's to be expected in such a tight form factor. Takes a while to get used to this fast frame rate & speed :D

I do not regret buying this lap top! My games run really well and I have been enjoying it :)
I will say when I plug it in, my lap top gets pretty warm. As well as the fans pretty noticeably noisy.
Other than that, I think it was worth the price

I love this laptop. Razer makes amazing products. It’s very fast, and can run any game you play. It also has an amazing webcam and comfortable keyboard. I plug in an external mouse but the track pad is huge. Only downside is short battery life, but that’s to be expected.

First of all, you have to know what you’re buying, and this laptop has outstanding capabilities and performance, however the battery life took a big hit.
You can only use the max performance when the laptop is plugged in, although that didn’t bother me when I was planning to buy the laptop. If you were to use the laptop at the max setting without it being plugged in, you would get no more than 2 hours. If you are someone who is buying this hoping for battery life, choose a different laptop. To me, the battery life didn’t bother me, I love this laptop, and it’s doing amazing!

It was a bit pricey but I am pleased with its performance. It is thin and fairly light so I enjoy carrying it around. I haven't noticed any overheating issues as mentioned in other reviews. I have a Lenovo Legion and this is quieter but the keyboard isn't as colorful.

This is an amazing laptop. It is super fast, the graphics are absolutely stunning, and it’s actually lightweight for being a 15.6” screen. My boyfriend and my sister play games and can’t stop talking about how fast it runs! 10/10 would recommend!
