My 200 buck old keyboard just died on me so I just picked this up and to be honest it's better then it should be for the price ,Keys feel pretty good only issue is there's no way to turn of RGB with out using the software

I purchased this keyboard for my home office since sometimes I like to use the keyboard at night without lighting up my room. Very cool lights on/under the board, nice clicking noise [if you like that] when you hit the keys. The keyboard lights even give the room a bit of a cosmic aura at night when you leave the room and look at it! Only thing I do not like is that all of the numbers and symbols are switched on the keys. For example, the 1/! key has the 1 on the top and the ! on the bottom, which is the opposite from the standard keyboard keys. Same with the other keys that are just symbols. For example, the ,/< key has the , on the top and the < on the bottom, which is the opposite from the standard keyboard keys. You just have to train the brain to flip these when typing! :) Buy it, you'll like it! :)

I just received this item I can say is a very good keyboard and very complete to the price I am happy with it.

Had just built my first pc recently and gotten a mechanical keyboard with it. Going from using a laptop my whole life to a mechanical keyboard was a really tough transition and I found it really uncomfortable using it. I got this keyboard as my second one and have been using it for about a week. It has a slimmer profile so it’s more similar to what I’m used to and has worked great so far. Very responsive and has a nice but not terribly loud clicky noise when typing.

Okay, as an owner of several pieces of Razer equipment over my life, I went into this purchase expecting fairly consistent quality to say my Cynosa or Black Widow I've had in the past. What I got was sort of a mesh between the two, but it wasn't without its faults. Firstly and probably the most striking issue I encountered upon opening this product was the fact the entire frame was bent. I set it upon my desktop and it rocked back and forth diagonally, almost like one of the feet was not fully locked. I did a full inspection and the keyboard did not have any issues with the feet. I actually had to forcibly bend the keyboard frame until it sat level. Took me a few tries. That was easily my biggest concern with this keyboard. Secondly the tactile feedback did not work out of the box for the left CTRL key. Upon further inspection I found the metal leaf that gives the keys the "click" was damaged. I ended up removing it and that key operates as a standard membrane key would. Which just to inform anyone, these "mecha-membrane" keys are just that, membrane keys with a faux-mechanical spring leaf inside of the key to give the keys a tactile feel and click. While I have no issue with the membrane feel, the mechanical click will probably eventually wear out over time. For the moment though it is nice and I enjoy the response even though it activates once the key bottoms out. It also clicks both ways, down and up. The two real positives from this keyboard is the attractive lighting and the magnetic wrist rest. The lighting is very vibrant, as it is with most Razer products. The wrist rest is very plush and magnetically connects to the frame of the keyboard, so there's no worry of it moving (as far as I can tell). The ability to remove the wrist rest is nice as well as there are times I've not wanted it. I'd say this is a fairly middle ground keyboard. Its not quite mechanical, but not quite membrane. But if you had to class it in one of the categories I'd most certainly place it in the membrane family. Its a sort of niche keyboard for people who want tactile response but still are okay with membrane keyboards. If I have any advice that I'd really want to give anyone its be careful and inspect your product well before throwing away any boxes or anything. This has probably been one of the worst Razer keyboards I've owned in terms of build quality. Overall I'd recommend this product as long as you know what you're getting. Its not a mechanical keyboard and still retains many properties of a membrane. But if you're looking for something that sort of has aspects from both families, this might be the keyboard for you. Just watch the build quality.
