I've been using this keyboard for almost a month now for both work and gaming and it does the job very well. The keys feel nice and clicky and the RGB isn't overwhelming. The software is very easy to use as well and lets you setup custom patterns for the RGB. The keyboard was much pretty much what I expected however the biggest surprise was the wrist wrest, didn't realize how helpful it could be. It also attaches to the keyboard via magnets so it doesn't slide around. Overall great keyboard especially if you catch it on sale.

After much debate, I decided to get this keyboard. Let me say, I do not regret my purchase at all. The keyboard is incredibly easy to set up straight out of the box and the preset lighting options are awesome. The colors are unmatched in my opinion. The keys felt great and the construction felt sturdy enough for my fat fingers. I haven't gotten a chance to mess around with any of the custom color options as the presets are good enough for me, but I will eventually have a go at it. So many people hate on Razer, but I think their products are made well and are fun to use.

This keyboard has the tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, but the key membrane of a laptop keyboard. I play a lot of video games and with my old mechanical keyboard sometimes my fingers would feel fatigued after a few hours of holding down different keys. With this keyboard I don't feel that nearly as much during long gaming sessions. I like the different color settings you can configure with the downloadable razer app, there are a ton of different options to choose from. It is a little bit on the loud side if you're just going to be buying it for typing, I wouldn't recommend for an office.

Responsive, satisfying key clicks, cool RGB setting via Razer Synapse software. Got it on sale at 70% off. Well worth what I paid.

Before this I used a $170 corsair keyboard but my friends were talking about this board and I finally bought it when it was on sale for 75 dollars. Everything about this board is so much better than my corsair one. The wrist rest is probably the best of any gaming branded keyboard. The keys have an amazing click to them and the razer synapse links its lights up to my other razer hardware. It's truly amazing for the price!

I needed a quiet mechanical keyboard and this is so nice! Not silent cause it is still mechanical, but not the annoyance my old one was. I also am in love with Chroma! Not only can I change the pattern and colors, I can make my own to match my mood or hair.

I love this keyboard except for 2 things which otherwise would have given it a 5 star rating. The symbols when using the shift button are rerversed. (ex. 1 is on top & ! is on bottom of the key). If your a touch-typer this shouldn't be an issue. The other thing is Razor's software is horrendous! Many people, including myself, have complained it runs there PC excessively hot, even without the keyboard being plugged in and it doing nothing. My PC ran hot all the time. It was hotter than my most intensive gaming sessions. I chose to use OpenRGB which does the job just fine. I have to remind myslef this is not a true mechanical keyboard. It has the feel of something like Blue or Green switches except the bottoming out has a very soft bumper feel.

It’s a fantastic keyboard. The colors are beautiful and so bright, there’s a lot of customization options, and the keyboard itself is comfortable to use and very responsive. Honestly it’s great for gaming or typing up a paper. I be love that it comes with a super comfortable wrist rest that connects magnetically to the keyboard. I’ve used this keyboard for two years now and it’s still like new. No problems whatsoever. Thanks Razer ❤️

The Ornata Chroma is a really interesting keyboard, as it utilizes a Razer hybrid "mechanical membrane" switch. It doesn't give you the full tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, but it's a nice in-between for people who are accustomed to using laptop keyboards. Still, the switches take some getting used to. On the plus side, the customizable RGBs on this keyboard are awesome.

I love the semi-mechanical part of this keyboard! I have had full mechanical keyboards in the past and they are to loud for my liking. This one is perfect! The lighting is cool and functions are great. Fire mode is really cool!

I bought this keyboard because I really love the RGB lights and the very low clicking sound that give out when you press. Even though this is still a membrane keyboard, the click is very close to a cherry MX blue. I've had experience some flaws with the keys strokes when playing some games even though I didn't buy this keyboard for that particular reason. When gaming you sometimes hear the click and expect that to register but unfortunately that doesn't happen because you didn't fully press the key down. Other flaws is that not all keys sound the same for instance my space bar sounds different than my backspace, not only they sound different; the press is lighter on the space than most of the other keys. This means the keys you use the most will have a less of tactical feel. The software on this keyboard is on beta which is filled with bugs, many times when I update the software I have to reset my computer because the RGB lights get suck and restarting the software doesn't help so a full reboot solves the problem. With the beta software it sometimes crashes and your keyboard RGB goes back to normal and your saved macros wont work until you open the software again. Even though I have many problems with this keyboard I bought it because I really enjoy typing on it and wont be gaming much. But next time I'm going to buy a full mechanical keyboard that should last longer than this keyboard ever will.
