This controller has a lot going for it in its mouse click buttons and super fast response times. Even wireless it hit 250hz polling rate which is more than the Xbox Elite Series 2. If you decide to go wired you will be able to reach 1000hz. Furthermore the ergonomics are very nice and the button placement is intuitive. The paddle button sin particular are the best I have ever used. The triggers are very satisfying to press when in their mouse click mode as well. I do not use the extra back buttons and they seem to be designed for claw players. Cons: There are two main cons and one is obviously price. $200 is a lot for a controller for gaming and it lacks the accessories the Elite Series 2 had such as the wireless charging doc and magnetic stick replacements. Obviously magnets may not be the best here as these are hall effect sticks and additional magnetic force may interfere. But still they could have done better than the weak plastic replacements which will wear over time which are the second con. At times I press down the left stick for sprinting and I can feel it slight turn. I am not rough with my controllers but I have a feeling these plastic attachments will wear down over time into a wobbly mess.

Great controller the buttons all work great thumb sticks glide really well. It's got a nice weight to it with the built in rechargeable battery. The battery has a pretty decent life span. I play a few hours everyday and charge maybe twice a week.

I never thought I'd say this after owning the Wolverine V1 Tournament Edition but this is easily my favorite controller I've owned so far. Great auxiliary button placement and overall ergonomics, highly responsive, great feeling construction, TONS of customization options between the programmable buttons/lighting and swapable joystick variants as well as the ability to set deadzones/shape and vibration motor intensity. Surprisingly low weight for being wireless, can be used while charging, charges quickly, and can be used on either Xbox or PC with either the wireless dongle or plugged in directly by USB. This controller feels like a true upgrade to my old V1 TE and I doubt I'll be retiring it anytime soon. Having said all that, there are a couple things that annoy me about this controller. First and foremost, there is no way to know how much charge the battery has left as it simply reads as "high", "med", or "low" when you check through your Xbox or Razer Controller app. Second is that it can be hard to tell when, or even if, it's charging when plugged in as it will only flash an indication once (if charge is below ~30% an orange light will blink 4 times after it's been plugged in, if ~80% or higher a green light will blink once) and then you just have to wait, full charge from totally dead is around 3 hours. Third is the battery life, it gets around 20 hours of life but is a little dependent on how fiercely you're using it, the more intense and button mashing your game is the shorter the battery life is going to be. Last is the carry case, while I honestly love that this controller comes with one it does not properly fit the controller if you are using the tall replacement stick and also cannot comfortably accommodate the charge cord with the controller inside. Overall, I really like this controller. For all their features and capabilities I feel like the price for the wired version is pretty spot on but the wireless should be closer to $150 rather than the current $200. If you're a ragey gamer then don't waste your time with either version, of you take care of your controllers while still playing pretty intensly then this one will do great for you.

Hall Effect! And it isn't loose feeling! TMR'ish!

The feel in hand is excellent, very ergonmic for me. The biggest issue I have is with the paddles or back buttons. I wish Razer would make it so I can remove the back buttons or they had fatter wider single buttons on the back like a GameSir controller or Steam Deck. Or even the Dual Sense Edge where you can swap them out and the ability to remove them as well. Instead you're forced to create another profile using Synapse that disables them. If you're like me and the only time you need the back buttons is during first person shooters, then having the ability to remove them is nice. Profile swapping is the work around to my issue, but that requires time, but once it's set, I haven't had any issues with it forgetting like my Corsair Scuf controller did. So major plus there. Anwyay my first Hall Effect controller was the TurtleBeach Stealth Pivot and those sticks are loosey goosey! Like it had almost no resistance on the sticks at all. Coming from an Xbox and PS5 controller, it was tough to get used to. Fast forward to this V3 Pro with some TMR and other HE controllers in between, and it's good! It's one of my favorite controllers as of now. The sticks aren't as resistant as the PS5 controller, but close enough to satisfy. Anyway I'm done writing, I highly recommend this controller for anyone looking for a good "pro" controller.

This controller has some of the best buttons I have ever felt on a console controller. Ghe software is intuitive and easy to use, the profiles etc are super convenient. However, the battery life is atrocious on this thing. I swear AAs on a regukar controller would last longer. I play within 3 feet from my console and the controlelr started disconnecting randomly. The way the thumb sticks attach is inferior to the series 2 elite controller as well. Overall, it js a super nice controller, but for $200 it feels cheaply built and has connectivity issues.

One of the best controllers I have ever played video games with! Super accurate Hall effect Joysticks... Impervious to stick drift. Plus, you have the wonderful clicky buttons that provide precision accuracy to all gameplay. Trigger locks that make the triggers a button versus having any travel. Also, the multi-directional control pad is the most accurate control pad on any controller I have ever. As well User Interface on PC is very user friendly. Battery life is wonderful I can play up to 3 days before charging.

After getting my Alienware Aurora 16 laptop from Bestbuy, starting my free month trial of XBOX gaming cloud services… I was met with one problem: I needed an Xbox controller. Up until this point I’ve only ever gamed on Mac while using a PS5 controller. Growing up I’ve never had an Xbox so the layout was difficult to adapt to. But nonetheless I was able to figure it out. The buttons feel so rich and is really satisfying. Each click is magnificent. In terms of fixing this piece and doing remaps… I’ve had difficulty connecting and adapting my controller to the brand’s software… I give up.

    Razer Wolverine is the GOAT!!!

This controller is simply badass!!! Its extremely responsive with the cable plugged in, only complaint but understandable that a cable will allow lowest latency. You can customize the joystick sensitivity and responsiveness within razer synapse, giving a true master full control with no dead zone and truly zero drift. The triggers offer a short stroke, common among man elite controllers these days but you can add a setting that makes it as responsive as a mouse click. So essentially as soon as it detects movement as you pull it fires before you're even a 64th into the full range of motion, making that a real competitive edge against mice. Getting used to the integrated buttons on the back was a little challenging as you can't remove them. So if you do program the sometimes in intensive situations you might accidentally bump one and can mean your death lol that being said the pros vastly outweigh the cons as one you just have to adjust to having integrated buttons, the other having a cord, no real deal breakers. Oh and lastly something ive really embraced is the two extra left and right bumbers. So instead of having only 4 extra buttons on an Xbox controller configuration you get 6!!! Thats ridiculous lol having a couple extra buttons fir games that have alot of controls or you want to free up your thumbs never having to lift them for anything is a serious win for competitive controller usage. Keyboard and mouse may always be superior but, I think Razer is on the right path to leveling the playing field for those who just hate the mechanics of KB and mouse. Its uncomfortable wrist position for long periods, and you have to be right up close to your desk rather than just chillin, kicking back holding your controller in your lap lol Anyway I think ive covered everything that really hit for me, i didn't even mention all the ither changes you can make to the sensitivity curves and other well thought out settings that some players might be interested in. Overall in my experience with many different controllers and brands, this is number one for me im loving it.

Best Controller; IF ONLY you could calibrate it

I love everything about the feel of this controller. The buttons, the triggers, the placement of the 6 extra buttons. The biggest (only) issue is there is no way to calibrate the Hall Effect thumbsticks. You can adjust the deadzone level from 1-5 but this causes massive deadzone, even worse that an stock (fill in the blank) controller. Playing COD,: if I set my controller to 0 and 0 in the Razer app, I have to have my thumbstick deadzone set to 2 in the controller settings. Man I want to love this controller so bad.... Its super responsive, comfortable etc. I updated to the newest firmware from Razers website that is supposed to fix this issue, still a problem. Pro controllers that are $200+ should be able to be run zero deadzone out of the box; if nothing else you should be able to calibrate where 0 is on your controller in the app. Such a disappointment. I am going to have to return and look for another option, guess I will be going to Scuff. Back to square one.

    Fantastic 3rd Party Controller

I've used the Elite/Elite 2 Controllers for years and after the third one got stick drift (again), I decided it was time to look into a 3rd party controller with hall effect sticks. So far so good with this controller! I love the customizable buttons and the mechanic tactile feeling of the buttons when you click them. The controller feels comfortable in the hands for extended gaming sessions as well. My only qualm with it, and its more a personal preference and doesn't merit reducing a star, is that the controller itself is a decent bit lighter than the elite 2 controller...so it doesn't have that "premium/sturdy" feel to it and feels cheaper overall to hold....even though it costs more. But I'm hoping that with the hall effect sticks and mechanical buttons - the lifespan in this will extend beyond what the elite controllers last.

As an owner of 2 Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers with stick drift, I gave the Wolverine a shot and was very impressed. It takes some getting used to as the controller feels different in the hand and is angled slightly different than an OG Xbox controller, but once you do, there's no going back. Every button has a "mouse click" feeling to it which is very nice, and the triggers can be normal or"mouse click". I recommend this controller to all of my friends. It's a worth while investment and I've had no issues with it. The software to map controls is very easy to use and the included charging cable is braided and high quality. You also get 6 total additional buttons located between the bumpers and triggers, so 2 more than an Elite Series 2. Unless the Elite Series 2 comes with Hall Effect thumb sticks that eliminate drift, I won't even consider getting one again. Razer takes the win.

I’m a gamer, and controller performance is really important to me, especially for FPS games. This controller has been excellent so far! The response time is great, the buttons and analog sticks feel precise, and it really improves my gameplay experience. I haven’t had any issues with it until now. Definitely recommended for anyone who takes gaming seriously.

I was a little hesitant about getting this controller do to the stick drift issue but Im glad I tried it myself because this is a great controller with zero deadzone. Also the back buttons are so nice too because they have a mouse click feel to them but they are non removable which I find a little disappointing.
