    I HAD AN INSTALLATION OF A REAR VIEW MIRROR WITH A COMPASS . THE INSTALLER WAS VERY POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. IT WAS PERFECT.

    Ordered it and they could not install it

    After two appointments They could not install it with a lame excuse that it wouldn’t fit even though they recommend an adapter that I had to purchase online elsewhere. Also the 19 year old kid that was the only guy working there spilt glue all over my shifter when gluing my mirror back on that is also now missing some trim.

      That isn't at all the kind of service that we want to provide when installing car electronics. Please reach out to a manager at your local store to discuss this further, and we'll try to find a solution for the glue issue and the install itself.

    I went in with an appointment and no technician would install, and I could not get a refund. Beyond disappointed and upset with the service I paid for that was not served.

    Avoid for Rear View Mirror Installs - Go Elsewhere

    Will write more later but the installer basically had a poor attitude from the get go and came up with every reason why he couldn't do an install rather then solutions. Net net.. wasted my time and got my money refunded.

    Rear view video mirror was not able to get installed by beat buy installer after two tries over two weekends. They could not get it to work

    Rear View mirrow back up camera install

    I had the echomaster rear view mirror system installed at Best buy north Attleboro ma. they quoted 2 hrs to install and a price of $159.00. was done in 2hrs and for the price quoted. will use again.

    I purchased the Geek Squad installation for my backup camera mirror system. I figured they’d be able to install and if I had any issues they could walk me through it. Boy was I wrong. They couldn’t even get the mirror off of the windshield. They need a special tool. I imagine my Ford wasn’t the first Ford they’ve encountered. Why don’t they buy the tool? It’s a Ford propriety tool and they can’t. How do glass people get mirrors off I wonder...My dad who can barely work his smart phone or laptop was able to master Google and search for a tool. O’Reilly’s sells them...for $40. No, they don’t have that, can’t get it, can’t install. Come back we’ll give you a refund. Great. I used PayPal to purchase on BB’s website. They have to refund PayPal. Still haven’t received that. It could take anywhere from a week to a month to get. Takes about 2.3 seconds to get my money. Maybe the description of the Geek Squad services should say we MAY remove your mirror and we MAY install a new one. Product description for the mirror should have MAY be compatible if the Geek Squad can figure out how to take your mirror off. Won’t use that service again.

    If your car has Onstar don't waste your time! Best Buy will not install it. Of course they don't tell you this until after you pay for the installation online and try to schedule an appointment. I ended up installing it myself in less time than it is taking me to get a refund. Every time I call to get a refund they keep hanging up on me. I'm beyond frustrated.
