I love my remarkable! I take notes for work all the time and this has kept me so much more organized. The writing experience is almost exactly writing on paper but with the digital convenience of being able to organize in different folders and add tags for searchability, all in a really pleasing form factor.

This was the perfect addition to my "Remarkable" universe. As an owner of a Remarkable 2 and Paper Pro, I found the "Move" to be an excellent and convenient addition. Its size makes it easy to carry, and the notes taken while using the Move transfer nicely (formatting-wise) to the other devices. If you already own a Remarkable, the Move is a very nice addition. If you don't own a Remarkable, the Move is the perfect choice to introduce you to the product line. It works great on its own and is also a very nice addition for those already using a Remarkable.

I love the portability of this product and basically take it with me everywhere. There did happen to be a two day period where the tablet froze for nearly 48 hours. It only turned back on after about 24 consecutive hours of ininterrupted charging,
Hopefully that was the only problem and from here on out I’ll just make sure I avoid depleting the battery completely before recharging it. I do feel better knowing that the tablet has a one year warranty through reMarkable which extends even further for their connect subscribers.

The pen is upgraded and the writing is very smooth but the best thing is the size - it becomes a great carry along for any meeting. Great construction and look/feel. Great

Best piece of tech I own. Lowest latency pen makes for the smoothest writing experience. The portable unique 16:9 size fits perfectly in my hand for one handed writing. Easy to use. Easy to navigate. Have been using this for note taking on the go, journaling, to-do lists and just organizing my thoughts. Have previously owned reMarkable 2 and Kindle Scribe. This is in a category all its own. Some may balk at the steep price but this is product is well worth it! Highly recommended.

Portable and powerful, this little device has changed my workflow for the better. I'm no longer forced to carry my 10.3" reMarkable everywhere I go. The syncing is seamless and fast. The ability to carry my notes with me everywhere I go was already there on the mobile app, but you couldn't *take* notes on the mobile app. Now, I have full access to all of my notebooks everywhere.

I’ve only had this for a few days, but it is definitely what I thought it was. I used to take notes on my iPad, but the notifications and other alerts always drew my attention away. Now, this tablet is so boring I can focus on what I need to capture. Love it

This item is amazing. I had the remarkable paper pro but felt that one was too expensive so i returned it for the move and been nothing but happy with it. Paired wirh my kindle paperwhite i am in productivity heaven. The screen feel is the best part… it feels better rhan writing on paper.

Sync doesn’t work

The remarkable sync wouldn’t work, this allows you to see your notes on iPhone, iPad and Mac. It was frustrating as customer support didn’t respond to my email. I recommend just using an iPad with OneNote, that sync is flawless and the writing experience is good!
Hi there, thank you for sharing this with us. We’re sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had with syncing across your devices and the difficulty reaching our support team. They’re best equipped to look into specific sync issues like the one you described, and we’d really appreciate the chance to help get this sorted out. 1st impression on the Paper Pro Move

My needs for this device:
- I want something I can easily jot quick notes on
- A way to track my “honey-do” list
- It has to be pocketable
- A stylus is a must
The Move checks all these boxes—some better than others.
Hardware
The hardware is solid. It feels well-built, and the power button and USB-C port are really all I need on a device like this. The screen looks great, though I personally don’t care much about color. What did turn out to be essential is the backlight. Checking my grocery list in the car at 5 a.m. before heading into the store really showed me how useful that backlight is.
It’s easy to hold in one hand, jot down a note or cross something off a list, and then slide it right back into my pocket. That kind of frictionless experience is exactly what I was after.
Software
The software is good. Right now, I only have three notes:
1. A to-do list
2. A grocery list
3. A scratch pad
Yeah, I’ll admit it this device is probably overkill for how I’m using it. I definitely need to explore more of what the Move can do. But honestly, aside from some pen and color options, it’s basically a souped-up Field Notes notebook for me right now.
First Impressions
The form factor is what makes this device a winner for me. It’s compact, capable, and convenient. I plan to look into some of the templates mentioned in the Reddit community to see what else I can do with it.
That said, it does feel limited out of the box. It’s mostly just a really good note-taking device. I’d love to see tighter integration with Google services like Calendar and Keep in the future. But, I do recommend it for some one looking for a small and compact e-ink tablet.

The best purchase ever. I used to have several notebooks for work and personal notes, but with this tablet, that's no longer necessary. The writing experience is wonderful, it's portable, and the battery lasts two weeks. It's the best idea ever, with lots of writing options and colors. Highly recommended.

The device does what it does better than any device out there (except maybe the Kindle Scribe) and the form factor is nearly perfect (I'd like it maybe a little smaller). However, like all reMarkable products, it's very expensive.
I also wish reMarkable would provide some third-party app support. Being able to run Obsidian on their devices would be killer, or even just a proper epub reader like ReadEra. I'm hopeful that these will come with time, as I know the user base is asking for it.

Just as good as the Paper Pro, but on the go. It's a great size. I take it everywhere I go. I love journaling and documenting everything and this makes it easier. Love the color. Love the eraser on the marker so you can keep the thoughts flowing seamlessly. It's like paper; only better!

Great device. Portable, easiest electronic device to write on. The Marker Plus works great with different writing styles. Awesome templates for different notes. Has really helped keep thoughts and tasks organized for improved productivity.

Seeing this product in use by a local contractor with 4 businesses I was intrigued that this is how he keeps all his projects & notes intact -- DOES NOT own a file cabinet. That was good enough for me to head to Best Buy to try it for myself. It has a short learning curve, but I am definitely enjoying getting to know & use it more.

So far so good, compact, feels like writing on paper, etc. But it's very clear that (if you were used to bound paper notebooks before, as I was) you have to learn and adjust to the device document and filing system to make it useful. I have yet to learn but am rating this now based on my optimistic view that I will be able to

So, you have to really understand what you are buying. This is a replacement for a note pad that has some extra abilities thrown in for good measure. Is it worth $500? Not really, but I have found that I love using it. The key to really appreciating this device is going on ETSY and downloading whatever template you need (they do cost money). The other good use for it is reading ebooks. There is some restrictions on what type of books can be downloaded, but with a little searching you can find ways to install new releases on the device. Overall, I really do like it. I just wish it was $200 less.

It’s been fun to take notes on it. I still haven’t found the most seamless way to integrate it in my daily work flow, but it’s a nice note taking device. The battery does last. I used it all day at a training, and it wasn’t 100% charged, but it lasted the entire time.
It’s really expensive for what it is, though. Sometimes documents are hard to see even with brightness all the way up. It’s better to just take notes on a template.

Love Remarkable, legacy buyer, Pro-Move Failed Me

I love the Remarkable device and have been a customer since the original remarkable device. I got a remarkable 2 and used that for several years before finally pulling the trigger on the Paper Pro Move. I've gone from a daily user to a 'sits in my drawer because the form factor doesn't work.' There are a few reasons.
1. Form Factor: The real issue with the form factor is that it's long and thin, but the thinner gets even worse when you finally use it and realize the screen-size itself is even smaller due to necessary limits for visibility (i.e. you have to have a physical border for the screen). It also still maintains the 'standard' screen size so when I open existing documents I now have to zoom in, which means anything I write on this form factor is going to look wonky on the larger format screens.
2. Feature Creep: I use Remarkable for writing and note taking, not any of the advanced/fancy features. I don't care about colors of highlighting - notice it lags on use anyway. I don't use writing to text, it's sketchy and loses formatting. I don't need 50% or more of their existing feature upgrades and would love to pay much less for their core tech and only get the software upgrades I want at one-time cost than pay the upfront expense for things I likely won't use. I occasionally find the connect account useful but as a legacy customer I don't pay for it, otherwise I would absolutely skip it.
3. Pens: I bought a really nice pen for the Remarkable 2, uses a porcelain tip that never needs replacing, very fine line, weighted for comfort. This tip simply doesn't not register on the new tablet, which I didn't even think to check so that's on me, but it's also super frustrating because I'm not a huge fan of the branded pen with the eraser (which is always huge and hard to control).
on the pro side, I love the writing experience overall and the backlight is beyond needed to make sure I can write all the time. I think, for my personal use/needs, the remarkable pro move has moved well beyond my core needs which will leave me looking at their older tablets or completely pivoting to a new platform.

I am a busy person and am involved in a lot of logistical things, I love taking notes, writing thoughts and gathering creative ideas. This is the perfect size for a remarkable, I used to have the remarkable 2, but this form factor is better for me. I love the color display, didn't know I needed it, but I love it now and can't see not having it. Overall, this is a daily carry for me that helps free up my mind and explore creative ideas, as well as take notes. I love this thing especially since it has a really good battery life
