Me along with my family love the POE Reolink cameras equipped with very good specs like the inferior red that allows us to see during the night especially with the ability to change the view to a much clearer picture on the app when it looks to pixelated during the night, but during the day it’s as crystal clear as can be. We also love how easy it was to set up and the easy app use to control the camera and all it’s functions. Now for the downsides the cameras have an alright zoom but can be difficult to see what we are looking at. Another downer is that the we purchase the 2TB NVR but our NVR only holds 198 GB of storage so our storage get pretty filled fast with all the footage it catches from our busy street; when we tried to take it back to where we purchased it (BESTBUY) they told us our 2 year geek squad warranty had been decreased to only 3 months when we paid an extra $50 for the 2 year warranty because the company didn’t make this product anymore. With all being said we still love the brand we got but just wish our warranty didn’t go away on short notice because we love to have that back up just in case anything happens, along with the storage not being 2TB.

    Small field of view

Upgraded from the Arlo system for many reasons. We wanted a camera system that runs off local storage and quit paying for monthly subscription costs. This also means the recording is continuous which was a major downfall to the Arlo system. Having a camera system that is POE is great for no more charging and hoped cameras that last more than 2 years. The major downfall for this system is the narrow field of view. We mounted in the same spots as our old system, and the camera view is about half. It really limits the coverage around the house. Im really just having a hard time with the very limited view. The usability of the app takes some getting used to, but its ok and im sure updates and gets better with time.

We upgraded from WiFi cameras to these POE cameras and couldn't be happier. The price was great. Install and set up was easy. Of course you have the cable, so we did pay a handyman to wire it through the walls to the outside. The included cables were just long enough for all of the cameras, but they are all located on the front of the house near the NVR .If you were running cables from front and to the back of the house, you would definitely need longer cables. The camera quality is great - night vision is great too. Motion detection (person, vehicle, or all) is extremely precise. I love that it will record the couple of seconds pre-motion detection (its only like 3 seconds but it seems to be enough to capture whatever happens before motion is detected). Great customization with the NVR for blacking out areas you don't want to see (like neighbor's yards) and reducing motion detection areas. Can also receive push notifications to your phone or set those up only for certain motion events for certain cameras at certain times of day. To be honest, the customization is really great if not slightly overwhelming due to all of the options. Take some time digging through the NVR to figure out the settings you want. It is easy to navigate on the desktop application, so definitely recommend setting that up. Got the android app, too, and it works great. 10/10 highly recommend!

The camera clarity is great, especially considering the price. Options for recording can be customized to your liking. Very nice piece of mind to have these on the house.
