Grabbed this on sale but it deserves a full price - really addicting gameplay and great visuals. Story is hard to follow since I’m an idiot but gameplay is top quality

The gameplay in this game is awesome, super faster and satisfying and tons of upgrades to get and feel more and more powerful along the way. Pretty long to finish in one sitting as you can't save or come back to your playthrough another time really, you have to mostly beat in 4hours or so in one sitting.

This game ended up being one of my favorites of 2021. The gameplay is really challenging, but super fun and rewarding. Also, the graphics, audio and controller features all make this game really feel next gen. A must have game if you own a PS5!

Returnal is an instant classic. Developed by Housemarque, Returnal is a rogue like that pushes the players skill level to the brink. You will be tested.

The game is a good proposal, the quality of the graphics and sound is excellent, but I have a issue with the fact that you need to return to the beginning if you die, and the issue is that you need some many hours to dedicated to play one level. I would prefer some kind of save in middle of the each level (bioma).

Starts of a little slow and confusing at first, but once it clicks, oh man, I haven’t been able to stop playing, a truly underrated game that isn’t talked about enough

Good game concept BUT I don’t recommend for people that play multiple games. Like I play warzone daily but sometimes want to jump on something else. This game has no saves and no checkpoints. So if you are playing for several hours and your buddy wants to play warzone goodbye to all your progress.

This game is challenging yes but so addictive. The immersion truly showcases what the PS5 is capable of and the lore behind the game is fantastic. Gameplay is smooth and responsive but definitely worth it.

Amazing game, combat is super great! The only thing that was a downer for me is that I have a phobia of underwater stuff. I did manage to overcome that because I really dig this game, but it was tough. Looking forward to more in the future!

Very unique and challenging game. It takes time getting used to the gameplay and strategy on using consumables etc. There’s no save points so starting over after each death is rough

This game is a staple if you have a PS5. The gameplay is smooth and addicting. This should be one of the first games you get for the PS5 because it is just amazing.

Some games have not given the feel of a next-gen game. This one brings that feel. I am certain that better more next-generation games will be released but this is definitely worth trying out.

Fun game, although I haven't finished it. Like Elden Ring, it really isn't truly coop though, say like Wonderlands. You only have the opportunity for help at certain points in the game...like Elden Ring. It's still a good game though.

This game was hard for me at first and I put it down for awhile. I came back to it and now I’m addicted. Amazing fun but it is hard.

3rd person shooter, rogue-like on a beautifully crafted planet setting. Absolutely love the aesthetics and story of this game. Just wished it had a save system between biomes. This game does not fit well with a person that has a busy lifestyle. Great game and idea nevertheless.

As far as the quality of the game itself I can say this game is graphically beautiful and sound quality top notch. My personal gripes with the game is that it's really not my cup of tea. Being unable to save your progress and losing everything when you die doesn't work for me.

Bought this game based on the positive reviews but I didn’t like it. Graphics were nice but it’s just not my style of game.

If you have ever watched the movie Live Die Repeat with Tom Cruise this is that game/movie This is absolutely perfect! Worth the money and worth the console you had to get it on PS5! Puzzle games meets Halo! Wow!

Great game! Very challenging. The maps and enemies change each time you die which makes it fresh and addicting. The atmosphere, gameplay, music, power ups, and weapons make this game fun to play. Can’t wait for Returnal 2. Buy it!
