Easy to setup and use

The primary reason was due to the fact that you could not use the SimpliSafe mobile app without paying for a monthly subscription. I wanted to have the option of paying for a monthly subscription. Having said that, I have been very happy with the Ring security kit. I also got an awesome deal at Best Buy on sale. The system was very easy to setup and use, as is the mobile app. I have not setup the stick up camera yet, so I still need to understand it's capabilities and configuration. I do know that video storage is one of the benefits of the monthly service, so you will need to read the benefits and decide if it is worth the extra expense.
